In Memory of Robert “Bruce” Renfro
Robert “Bruce” Renfro, son of Mildred L. Lane Renfro was born on October 22, 1952 in Stoddard County and departed this life on October 31, 2018 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 66 years.

Mr. Renfro was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He was a truck driver for D & D Trucking of Essex, Missouri and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.

On July 6, 2004 he was united in marriage to Barbara Cossey.  Mrs. Renfro survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Survivors include, his wife Barbara; one son, Jeff McLard of Bloomfield; four daughters, Sandi McLard of Dudley, Missouri, Destiny Kanahele of Hawaii, Erin Renfro of Hawaii and Kristie Renfro of Branson, Missouri; by one brother, Daune Renfro of Dexter; two sisters, Roberta Renfro of Dexter and Diane Aguilar of Waco, Texas; by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A private burial service was conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.  A celebration of life service will be announced later.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Michael “Joe” Corlew
Michael “Joe” Corlew, son of Mary Litzler Corlew and the late Charles Corlew was born on April 5, 1958 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on October 30, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Corlew had retired from the Park Service in Wapappello.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his family and friends and was a resident of Essex.

Survivors include: his mother, Mary Corlew; one brother, Charles Ray Corlew of Dexter; three sisters, Sandy McMullin of Essex, Charlotte Stutts of Essex and Jan Wheeler of Essex and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney “Rod” Corlew.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Essex Cemetery in Essex for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Memorials, 701 Mo-25, Dexter, Missouri 63841.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

Paisley LeeAnn Hampton, daughter of Ashley Leeann Rogers and Troy Lee Hampton was born on October 30, 2018 and departed this life on October 30, 2018 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Survivors include: parents, Ashley Leeann Rogers and Troy Lee Hampton of Bernie; grandparents, Jason Schweikarth and Rachel Linville-Schweikarth of Bernie and Tammy Holmes and Michael Hampton; great-grandma, Katherine Jarrell; great-grandpa, James Linville; great-grandmother, Kay Holmes; great-grandfather, Dale Hampton and great-grandmother, Deb Hampton; four aunts Brittany Rogers, Kayla, Samantha, and Katherine Garland and one uncle Mitchell Hampton.

Memorial service will be conducted at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.

In Memory of Wendel Lee Moore Sr
Wendel Lee Moore Sr., son of the late Floyd Rudolph “Frog” Moore and Dorlus Mae Snider Moore was born in Pyletown, Missouri on January 27, 1936 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on October 29, 2018 at the age of 82.

Mr. Moore had worked at Interstate Brands, Sikeston, Missouri until he retired, he then Owned and Operated Moore’s Auto Electric of Bernie, Missouri until his final retirement.  He loved Wood working and family.  He was of General Baptist Faith and was a resident of Bernie.

He was united in marriage to Norma Jean Reeves in Dexter, Missouri on July 3, 1954.  Mrs. Moore survives in their home in Bernie.

Other survivors include two sons, Wendel Lee Moore Jr. & wife Donna of Dewitt, Arkansas, Stephen Ray Moore & wife Terri of Bernie, Missouri; by two daughters, Debra Sue Kiser & husband Robert and Lisa Faye Moore all of Bernie, Missouri; by one brother, Larry Moore of Bernie; by one sister, Mary Crites of Springfield, Illinois; by eight grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle, Derik, Allison, Trevor, Jessica, Kaycee and Cody; by four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Harleigh, Dalton and Blake; also by other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one brother, Jack Moore; by one granddaughter, Maylinn Harvey; by one great-grandson, Cullen; also by Kevin Edmunds.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   With Masonic Services being conducted at 6:00 P.M.  A private burial is being planned.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of William Dale James
William Dale James, 63, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 11, 1955 in St. Louis, Mo. to William Joseph James and Mary Juanita James from Bloomfield, Mo.

William is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kelly James, his sons, Brandon James (Melissa) of Melissa, Texas; Travis James (Krisna) of Jacksonville, Florida; and Joshua James of Houston, Texas. His five grandchildren Sean, Madison Lee, Mackenzie, Tyler and Mason. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Gregory (Jerry) of Highland, Illinois, Sherry McCollom (Bo) of Bloomfield, Missouri and Kim Hayes (James) of Malden, Missouri; and by several nieces and nephews.

William is proceeded in death by his father William Joseph James and his mother Mary Juanita James.

William, known to many as Bill, Billy, Coach Bill, Uncle Bill and Billy Dale was a family man whose smile was infectious. Bill had the capability to lighten any situation and put a smile on your face. To all that knew Bill, he was a Houston sports lover and enjoyed watching many games with his sons. His boys were his pride and joy, he was so proud of all their accomplishments.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 11am at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home, 106 N. Prairie St., Bloomfield, MO 63825

Internment will be at Walker Cemetery, Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
