Bloomfield, Missouri - Woodland High School Cross Country teams won the boys and girls divisions of the SCAA Meet on Monday, October 11, 2018 at Bloomfield, Missouri.
The Lady Cats placed second in the varsity girls division.
Dexter held five of the top 10 spots with Grace Milam (24:37.74) taking 4th, Alanie Lacy (26:38.52) taking sixth, Gabrielle Brown in 8th with a time of (26:48.91), Hannah Smith was10th with a time of (27:57.53) and Margo Nea finishing 1st with a time of (21:12.53)
The Bearcats finished third in the varsity boys division.
Carter Dorton, Andrew Ellinghouse, and Gavin Cartwright earned top-10 finishes. Dorton was fourth with a record of 18:31.93 - his personal best, Ellinghouse was 6th also with a personal best record of 18:52.03 and Cartwright was 8th finishing with a time of 19:42.05.
Also notable accomplishments were Matthew West (10th in JV), Layne Medler (9th in JV), and McKayla Annesser (10th in JV).
Kennett, Missouri - Class 1, District 1 individual tennis district matches were held at Kennett on Friday, October 5, 2018. Three Lady Bearcats earned medals.

Thursday, October 11th quarterfinal games begin at 4 p.m. for the Junior Varsity in the FEMA Gym and the Varsity in the HS Gym.
Kennett, Missouri - The Dexter Lady Cats finished second place in the Class 1 district 1 Girls Tennis Tournament at Kennett losing to the Lady Indians 5-0 in the championship match on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. This was the Lady Indians' 12th consecutive district title.
In doubles, Sydni McAtee/Darcy Campbell beat Jadyn Northcutt/Malia Cook 8-3, Emma Phillips/Alexa Blankenship beat Abby Dorton/Hannah Bollinger 8-6 and Anelle Harris/Taylor Hufford beat Maci McBride/Courtney Northcutt 8-2.
In singles, Phillips defeated Dorton 6-1, 6-0, and Harris defeated Bollinger 6-0, 6-1.
The Bearcats finished their season 10-4. Congratulations Lady Cats on your second place finish.
