Three Rivers College Students are Awarded Scholarship Funds from the Rotary Club of Poplar Bluff

The Rotary Club of Poplar Bluff has awarded scholarships to two students at Three Rivers College.
Emily Knoppe, a 2017 graduate of Twin Rivers High School, is studying Elementary Education at Three Rivers. She is the daughter of Kevin Knoppe and Stephanie Knoppe of Poplar Bluff.
Tyson Tibbs is a 2017 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and the son of Brian and Lori Tibbs of Poplar Bluff. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
These scholarships represent some of the more than $60,000 awarded to students this fall by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College. Three Rivers College student is awarded funds from the Leonard Query Memorial Scholarship

Nichole Lathem, a Three Rivers College student, has been awarded the Leonard Query Memorial Scholarship administered by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.
Lathem, a 2003 graduate of Dexter High School, is pursuing an associate degree in Business Management. She resides in Poplar Bluff with her husband, Chris. She is the daughter of Kimmie Hendrix of Poplar Bluff and Stanley and Sandra Hendrix of Dexter.
The Leonard Query scholarship is geared toward an in-district sophomore in the field of marketing and sales. It was established in Query’s memory after he died in an automobile accident. He was the sales director of National Union Agency of Poplar Bluff.

The varsity football team travels to Caruthersville for a 7:00 pm game. Player bus leaves today at 4:00 pm and the cheerleaders will leave at 5:00 pm.
The varsity volleyball team will play in the Perryville tournament tomorrow. Their first game is at 8:30 am. Player bus leaves at 6:15 am.
Good luck to the cross country team as they will be competing in the Notre Dame Invitational on Saturday. CC Bus departs at 7:00 am.
The volleyball team plays Puxico on Monday night in their annual HITS FOR HOPE game. Come out and support the Bearcats and a great cause!
Membership drive for the SkillsUSA/Industrial Arts Club will begin Monday, September 24th and end October 26th. The club dues are $15. Checks can be made out to Dexter Industrial Arts Club. Also, the Club Fundraiser will begin Oct. 17 thru Oct. 31st.
FBLA Members: Thank you for meeting the Six Flags deadline. We will have 48 people on the trip. Check the FBLA bulletin board for the Six Flags Roster as well as the updated Membership roster. Every member who paid dues will have their name on the back of the FBLA t-shirt. Sign up to order one here

Three Rivers student is awarded funds from the Richard Thomas Memorial Scholarship

Amy Ramback of Fisk has been awarded the Richard Thomas Memorial Scholarship at Three Rivers College. Ramback, a 1993 graduate of Twin Rivers High School, is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Three Rivers College.
The scholarship was established in the memory of Richard Thomas by his family and is awarded to a nontraditional student each fall.
This scholarship represents some of the more than $60,000 awarded to students this fall by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College. 2nd Grade Students Earn Positive Office Referral Awards

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors 2nd Grade students with Positive Office Referral certificates.
This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN.
Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.
