Scott and Courtney McGarity of Essex are the parents of a daughter born July 28, 2018 at SoutheastHEALTH of Cape Girardeau.

Nora Carroll McGarity weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz., and was 20 inches long at birth.

Nora was welcomed home by her big brother Grant.

Maternal grandparents are Sherri and Rickie Frick of Hickory, Kentucky and the late Mike Ivey.

Paternal grandparents are Dennis and Vanessa McGarity of Sikeston.
