Walter Mae Lindsey, daughter of the late Walter Clark and Kate Richardson Clark was born on July 28, 1939 in Leachville, Arkansas and departed this life on August 29, 2018 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 79 years.

Mrs. Lindsey worked in home care as a house cleaner and was a resident of Dexter.

On May 18, 1978 she was united in marriage to Cecil Lindsey.  Cecil preceded her in death on October 12, 1995.

Survivors include: two sons, Bobby Black of Terrell, Texas and Paul (Joe) Black of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Helen Brickey of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Shirley Patterson of Ash Flat, Arkansas; by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Clark, Dave Clark and Hoyte Clark.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.
