Dexter, Missouri - There will be a PUBLIC HEARING held by the Dexter Board of Aldermen at 5 p.m., August 27th, 2018 at the Dexter City Hall, 301 East Stoddard Street, Dexter, MO.
This will be a PUBLIC HEARING at which citizens may be heard on the tentative property tax rates proposed to be set by the City of Dexter, a political subdivision.
The tax rates shall be set to produce the revenues which the budget for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, shows to be required from the property tax.
Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue required by the current assessed valuation.
The results is multiplied by 100 so the tax rate will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation.
The above information tax rates are based on info available at this time. The rates may be adjusted following receipt of additional data and recalculation of final tax rates.

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Housing Authority is accepting applications for two and three bedroom apartments.
Stove, refrigerator, and wash/dryer hook-ups. Central heat and air. Water, sewer and trash as well as lawn care included.
For qualified individuals. Low income/rent based on income. Income limits do apply.
Applications accepted at the Dexter Housing Authority office located at 1 Jennings Lane from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Dexter, Missouri - The City of Dexter will be working on a water main leak near the 200 block of East Business 60 tonight, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 beginning at 9 p.m. through the morning hours.
"We would like people to use an alternate route if possible while we have men out their working tonight," commented Mark Stidham, City Administrator.
The location of the repairs is between N. Poplar Street and Walnut Street. Vehicles will be detoured during that time.
