Sikeston, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats participated in a 7on7 football challenge and lineman challenge at Sikeston along with Scott City and New Madrid County Central.

"We competed well in both the 7on7 and the lineman challenge," commented Dexter Head Football Coach Aaron Pixley.  "We were down a couple of our stronger lineman and came together and worked hard and most importantly had fun."

"We also were down a couple of potential starters for the 7on7 as well, but played hard and had great attitudes the whole day," continued Pixley. "The 7on7 is fantasy in a lot of ways so win or lose in the summer it doesn’t necessarily dictate how your season will go.  This team needs to continue to learn to fight through any adversity thrown at them.  If we do that we’ll be competitive during the season."

The Dexter Bearcats will also be at Sikeston on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Bulldog Jamboree.  Caruthersville will also be competing.  It all begins at 6 p.m.  Time to fire-up Bearcats!

The Bearcats will open their season at Ste. Genevieve on Friday, August 24, 2018. Kick-Off at 7 p.m.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Junior High boys basketball team will open their 2018 season at home hosting the Advance JH Hornets on Thursday, October 4th at 6 p.m.

All regularly scheduled games begin at 6:00 p.m.  Tournament times will be announced at a later date.

The junior high Wildcats will participate in two tournament, the SCAA Tournament and the Fish JH Tournament.  The SCAA Tournament will be played at Advance.
