In Memory of Junior Ray Parker

Junior Ray Parker of Morehouse, son of the late James Andrew and Mollie Rose Ann Warren Parker, was born in Kiser, Arkansas on June 16, 1932, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston on July 23, 2018, at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 7 days.
He had lived in the Morehouse area most of his life. He had worked at the Himmelberger-Harrison Plant and as a farmer and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Morehouse.
He was first married to Cynthia "Jimmie" Smith on September 16. 1955, she preceded him in death on November 21, 1977. On July 1, 2000, he was married to Beulah Mae Shipp Wilkerson in Grant City, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah Parker of Morehouse; one son, Tony (Tina) Parker of Sikeston; one daughter, Sharon (Rick) Knuckles of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Parker, three brothers, Albert, Odell and Robert Parker and four sisters, Ella Williams, Roxy Boyle, Norma Jean Skalsky and Grace Powell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jim Vent of Morehouse officiating at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of DeWayne Reed Lindley

DeWayne Reed Lindley, son of the late Sidney Lindley and Anita Eileen Reed Lindley was born on February 10, 1943 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on July 23, 2018 at his residence in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Lindley was a Veteran of the Army and was stationed in Korea. He farmed for several years. In 1992 to 2008 he was the maintenance supervisor for the City of Bernie. He was a member of the Bernie United Methodist Church.
On April 13, 1968 in Parma, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Carrol Nunn. Mrs. Lindley survives of the home in Bernie, Missouri.
Besides his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Heather Bedwell (Newt) of Bernie, Missouri; one brother, Jim Lindley of Parma, Missouri; one sister Barbara Hohl (Ken) of St. Louis, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Zach Matney, Michiala Matney and Brydon Maddox; by one great-grandson, Forrest Matney.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Lindley.
Friends may call at the Bernie United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Bernie United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dave Fowler and Susan Marner Sides officiating.
Interment will follow at the Bernie Cemetery.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Larry Dow Eaton

Larry Dow Eaton, son of the late Estel Eaton and Wilma Gibson Eaton was born on July 4, 1947 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on July 23, 2018 in the emergency room at Southeast Health of Stoddard County at the age of 71 years.
Mr. Eaton was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the Air Force and was a former employee of Tilmon Trucking in Bernie, Missouri. He attended the Sweet Prospect General Baptist in Dexter, Missouri.
On December 16, 1985 he was united in marriage to Valerie Davis in Biloxi, Mississippi. Valerie survives at the home in Dexter, Missouri.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy Bercier (Tim Leming) of Nanjemoy, Maryland; one brother, Lester Wayne Eaton of Bourbon, Missouri; by one granddaughter, Marissa Bercier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Schnie Jones and one sister, Brenda Joyce Bess.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on July 27, 2018 with Rev. Ray Rowland officiating.

In Memory of Haley Paige Davis

Haley Paige Davis, 30 of St. Louis, was born on October 10, 1987 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was the daughter of Eric & Lana Davis and the late Charlene McConnell Gee. She departed this life on Friday, July 20, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Haley Paige Davis had been a housekeeper and was of the Baptist faith.
Her survivors include: Parents: Eric Davis & wife Lana of Sikeston. Biological son: Michael Utah Davis of Sikeston. Brothers: Mathew Gee, Zackary Gee & Bobby Gee. Sisters: Chelsea Cox and Lindsey Gee. Grandparents: Lanny & Sue Crane of Gideon and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Vernon & Frankie Earnheart and Chuck & Judy McConnell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Memorial services will follow on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden. Reverend Bryan Johnson will be officiating.

In Memory of Roger Dale Gromer

Roger Dale Gromer, son of the late Harold Ed Gromer and Rosie Imogene Williams Gromer was born in Dexter, Missouri on February 13, 1951 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on July 21, 2018 at the age of 67.
Mr. Gromer was a Veteran of The United States Navy, was an Over The Road Truck Driver and a member of Word of Faith Family Church of Bernie.
Survivors include one son, Jake Weston Gromer of Bernie, Missouri; by His ex-wife, Rhonda Lewis Gromer of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Connie Gromer of Bernie, Missouri and Janie Gromer of Dexter, Missouri; by two brother-in-laws, Jerry Yates of Bernie, Missouri and Chuck Whitacre of Benton, Missouri; also by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one sister, Charlotte Yates.
A Memorial Service will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Dale Hartle officiating. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
