FM Bank Donates Money to Dexter Animal Shelter

FM Bank Donates Money to Dexter Animal Shelter

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Animal Shelter operates off of a budget by the City of Dexter as well as donations from their generous citizens and businesses.

To date the shelter has processed well over 100 animals in 2018 and since the new humane officer took over in November they are striving to be a NO KILL SHELTER!!  To help make this happen the shelter is in need of an enclosed trailer to transport animals to adoption events around the area.  The trailer will require heat and air conditioning and some of these events are outside of Stoddard County which will be 30 minutes or more travel time.

For the animals safety they will also need about 16 pet cages as well as a 100 gallon water tank and pump to put in the trailer.

They are striving to have an adoption even every other weekend to save these precious dogs and cats.  As of right now they are borrowing a trailer to transport the animals, but temperatures are beginning to get pretty high.

Because of the high temperaturest they have had to suspend adoption events away from the shelter.

Any donation is greatly appreciated  Donations can be mailed to City of Dexter, c/o Animal Shelter, 305 Cooper St., Dexter, Missouri 63841.

Their goal is $15,000 by July 1, 2018.

Sponsors on the trailer who donate $1,000 will receive a 2x2 permanent area logo on both sides of trailer.  Sponsors $500-$999 will receive 1 foot by `1 foot logo and those $499 down to $101 will get a 1 square foot and is renewable every year.  Sponsors of $100 will be listed as donators on the trailer and they are renewable each year also.
