In Memory of Frances Irene Headd
Frances Irene Headd formerly of Parma, daughter of the late Thomas Hudson and Lillie Gertrude Singleton Parker, was born on December 15, 1923, in Parma, Missouri and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on May 2, 2018, at the age of 94 years.

She had lived in Parma before spending 17 years in California and 35 years in Florida. She moved to Benton, Missouri in 2005. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau. She was a retired school teacher.

In 1951 she married William H. Headd in Piggott, Arkansas.

Surviving are her husband, William H. "Bill" Headd of Benton, Missouri; two sons & wives, Robert Douglas & Marilyn Headd-Timmons of Ridgefield, Washington, Charles Michael & Valerie Headd of Manassas, Virginia; two daughters & husbands, Karma Lilth & James Aldridge of Benton, Missouri, Barbara Lou and Gary Smith of Monticello, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Aaron Parker of Bedford, Oregon; Lenon Parker of Bakersfield, California; and one sister, Cleta Fay Hillygus of Morro Bay, California. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Ronald, Raymond, Tom and Fonnie Parker; three sisters, Lena Ruth Parker, Evelyn Parker, and Rita Mae Hodges.

Interment will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at the Parma Cemetery, Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Rose Mary Taylor
Rose Mary Taylor, daughter of the late Cecil A. Chanley and Willis Waltrip was born in Lilbourn, Missouri on January 8, 1931 and departed this life in St. Anthony’s Hospice House at St. Louis, Missouri on April 30, 2018 at the age of 87.
 
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker.
 
She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Taylor in New Madrid, Missouri on January 5, 1947.  Mr. Taylor preceded his wife in death on November 18, 2017.
 
Survivors include two sons, David Allen Taylor of Kirkwood, Missouri and Charles Lee Taylor of Crestwood, Missouri; by one step-sister, Ruth Ann Carpenter of Southeast Missouri; by three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, James Russel Chanley and great grandson Robert David Lee Kiems.
 
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.   

Funeral Services will then be conducted at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie at 10:30 A.M.   

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. 

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Vincent Noland
Vincent "Vince" Noland of Bloomfield, son Shirley Burns Campbell and the late Donald Merlen Noland, was born in Dexter, Missouri on January 15, 1959, passed away at his home in Bloomfield on April 27, 2018, at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Vince had lived in the Bloomfield area most of his life. He had been a truck driver since 1983. He enjoyed being on the road or being at home with his family.

He was engaged to Sherrie Kathey, she survives of the home.

Surviving are his mother & "Dad", Shirley Burns Campbell & Lon of Bloomfield; one son, Christopher Hicks of Dexter; one daughter, Hailey Noland of Miami, Florida; three grandchildren; two sisters, Donna O'Neal of Campbell and Kim Nevels of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Noland.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Sissie Shaw
Patricia "Sissie" Shaw of Malden, daughter of the late Herman Eli and Minnie Jo Beasley Weldon, was born in Gideon, Missouri on November 13, 1947, and passed away at the Southeast Heath Center in Dexter, Missouri on April 30, 2018, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Patricia had lived in the Malden area most of her life. She had been a cook at the Malden Nurtrition Center and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

On December 22, 1984, she was married to David William Shaw, Jr. in Malden, Missouri.

Surviving are her husband, David William Shaw, Jr. of Malden; two sons, Kirk Andrew Walker and Randall Earl Walker both of Malden; two step-children, Sue Ann Rule of Flint, Michigan, David Louis Shaw of Grand Blanc, Michigan; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one brother, Terry Weldon of Akron, Ohio. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Weldon, one step-daughter, Rita Shaw, and one step-son, Dale Richard Shaw

Private Family Memorial services will be held at a later date with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Kathryn Lee Howard
Kathryn Lee Howard of Dexter, Mo went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2018.   

She was 90 years of age.  Kathryn was born on January 6, 1928 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, however she spent most of her life in the Bootheel of Missouri.  She was a homemaker, a florist, a musician, a gardener, and a Christian who served the Lord for 55 years as the organist at the First Baptist Church in Clarkton.  She played the organ for at least 3 services per week and the majority of weddings, funerals, revivals, and Vacation Bible School in the town and surrounding area during those 55 years, all in service to her friends and in praise of the Lord.   

She was the daughter of the late Sarah Emma and William Weston Sherwood.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James C. Howard who passed away in 1993, and her only sister, Patricia Ann Fletcher of Gideon, who passed away in January of this year.  Kathryn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter. 

She is survived by 3 children- James Martin Howard and wife Phyllis of Dexter, Elizabeth Ann Peck and husband Bill, of Asheville, NC and William Claude Howard, of Dexter.  In addition, she has 3 grandchildren, Wes Howard and wife Bonnie of Dexter, David Howard and wife Jennifer of Dexter, and Katie Mayberry and husband Matt also of Dexter.  She was blessed with 7 Great Grandchildren, all living in Dexter.

Her Celebration of Life will begin with family receiving friends at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden Monday April 30 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Visitation will also be held Tuesday, May 1 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel.   Interment will be at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton. 

Kathryn’s kind heartedness, grace, and passion for life will be greatly missed.  Although a sad time for those who loved her, she is in heaven with her Heavenly Father.
