In Memory of Charles Lynn Williams

Charles Lynn Williams, son of the late James B. Williams and Eathel Parrish Williams was born on June 12, 1941 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on April 26, 2018 in the emergency room at Southeast Health of Stoddard County at the age of 76 years.
Mr. Williams was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a former employee of Williams Moving Company of Dexter. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri where he was Chairman of the Deacons and a Sunday School Teacher.
On April 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Wilkison in Caldwell, Missouri. Mrs. Williams survives of the home near Bloomfield, Missouri.
Besides his wife Phyllis, he is survived by two sons, Shane Williams (Margaret) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and David Williams (Kathy) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by one brother, Harold Williams (Elsie) of Dexter, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Katelyn Carpenter, Darcie Williams, Morgan Williams, Zach Williams, Reagan Williams and Ryleigh Williams; by one great-grandchild, Aleigha Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by two brothers, J. C. Williams and Sherrill Joe Williams.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.
Interment followed at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
