In Memory of Lewis Storms

Lewis H. Storms, age 83, formerly of Dexter, Missouri, died April 19, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born in Crowder on September 10, 1934 to the late Ermon M. and Hazel I. Clark Storms.
He graduated Vanduser High School and Southeast Missouri State with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and began his teaching career in Bloomfield, in 1957, and later Campbell. He finished his 31 year teaching career as a middle school science teacher in the Dexter Public School system. He was a life time member of the Missouri State Teachers Association.
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Sharon Storms of O’Fallon, Mo. One sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Larry Richard of Overland, Mo. Three nieces and one nephew. Seven great nieces and 2 great nephews.
Visitation is scheduled Friday April 27, from 5 to 7 at Ponder Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 28. Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
Pallbearers are Josh Cindrell, Mike Hatley, Mitch Landrum, Gary Owens, Todd Wages, and John Wright.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Dexter Middle School Science Department, American Heart Association or a charity of your choice appreciated.
