St. Francis Names Bigler Accounting Manager
Cape Girardeau, Missouri - Saint Francis is happy to welcome Dori Bigler, CPA, as Accounting Manager. In her new role, Bigler will oversee the various functions of the accounting department, including research, planning and personnel. She will also ensure that all general ledger activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Bigler previously served as an accountant at Grey Hunter Stenn, LLP and as an accounting consultant for the City of Sesser, Illinois. She most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the Shawnee Mass Transit District, where she oversaw a budget of about $4 million.

Bigler earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees, with a concentration in taxation, from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Jason Johnson Named 2017 New Dealer of the Year
Dexter, Missouri- Jason Johnson, Owner of Air-Tech, LLC in Dexter recently attended the 2018 Carrier®/Koch Air Dealer meeting at the Louisville downtown Marriott in Louisville, KY.

Awards were given at this annual event recognizing several dealers for their continued success in the industry. 

Air-Tech Heating and Air, LLC is proud to be the recipient of one of those awards.  The “2017 New Dealer of the Year” award was presented to Mr. Johnson based upon criteria including but not limited to his continued growth and sales in the region represented.

Technology is rapidly changing in how consumers discover products and engage with dealers. Koch Air and HVAC industry experts joined together for a 2-day event to unlock additional opportunities and offer their dealers additional training.  Carrier® factory reps and dealers joined together to share their tools for success.

Day 2 was filled with informative breakouts and industry information to provide additional training. Some of the top leaders from around the country assisted the dealers in building a roadmap to success for 2018. 

Many awards were given at this annual event.  Mr. Johnson and his team are proud to receive this honor recognizing Air-Tech Heating and Air, LLC as a recipient among Carrier® dealers in the area.

Route Y in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform edge rut repairs. 

This section of roadway is located from County Road 351 to Route DD.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Motorists Reminded to Buckle Up and Arrive Alive

Dexter, Missouri– Law enforcement agencies throughout Missouri participated in this statewide effort to get more motorists to buckle up — and save more lives.  During the enforcement effort, officers issued a total of 7 traffic citations. Including
 
Despite evidence proving the benefits of wearing a seat belt, nearly one in five Missouri motorists are still not making it click. Even more concerning, six out of ten Missourians killed in traffic crashes are unbuckled. 

“Seat belts are your single best defense in a crash,” stated Captain Trevor Pulley. “We will continue to encourage drivers to make a simple, smart choice to buckle up and Arrive Alive.”
