In Memory of Bulah Lucille Pinkley

Bulah Lucille Pinkley was born on April 25, 1928 in Hornersville, Missouri to the late John W. Evans and Bernettie Branum Evans. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Pinkley residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 89 years 10 months and 10 days.
Lucille Evans was united in marriage to Harold Norman Pinkley on August 8, 1948 in Malden, Missouri. Harold preceded her in death on May 16, 1999. She was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden, where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years. Lucille and Harold petitioned for and played a significant role in starting a state school for mentally handicapped children in Dunklin County.
Her survivors include her son: David Pinkley & wife, Brenda of Malden,
3 Grandchildren: Jennifer Pinkley & Lucas Walker and their daughter, Heidi of Springfield, Missouri, Andrew Pinkley of Greenville, Missouri and Julie Cloud & husband, Jerrel, and their children, Dixie, Emily and son: Jackson of Malden. And a host of other relatives and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Rebecca Jane Pinkley, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Cory Godsey officiating.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
