In Memory of Tisha Joy Moore

Tisha Joy Moore, daughter of Kay Tanner Davison of Dexter and the late Roy Davison, was born on July 8, 1976 in Cape Girardeau and departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the SoutheastHealth Emergency Room in Dexter at the age of 41.
She was attending the Metro Business College in Cape Girardeau to become a Massage Therapist, where she would have graduated in March.
Survivors included: three daughters; Paige Lynn Moore, Hanna Joy Moore, Sarah Kay Fyke all of Dexter; by her mother, Kay Davison; by one sister, Karen Hindman (Scott) of Dexter; by two nephews, Login Wood of Malden and Landin Wood of Dexter; by a lifelong friend, Diana Hessling of Dexter.
Friends may call the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 12:00 (Noon) to 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Lighthouse Christian Center with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Denise Lynn Burnham Vincent

Denise Lynn Burnham-Vincent, daughter of Dallas Wilson and Marilyn Payne Bishop was born on June 23, 1967 and departed this life on February 5, 2018 at her residence in Rural Bernie, Missouri at the age of 50 years.
She was a Nurses Aid for a Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas and a resident of rural Bernie.
She was united in marriage to Phil Vincent in O’Fallon, Missouri in August of 2017. Mr. Vincent survives of the home.
Survivors include: her husband, Phil; her mother, Marilyn Payne Bishop; by two sons, Robert Lee King and Michael Justin Burnham both of Clarkton, Missouri; by one daughter, Michelle Lynn Emond of Mar Vista, California; by one brother, Dennis Lee Gibson of Clarksville, Tennessee; by two sisters, Sheila Marie Wilson of Buffalo, Missouri and Anna Richelle Shepard of O’Fallon, Missouri; by ten grandchildren.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Myrl A. Cook

Myrl A. Cook, daughter of the late Robert A. Garner and Cora Lee DeArman Garner was born on July 15, 1929 in Pyletown, Missouri and departed this life on February 7, 2018 at her residence in Afton, Missouri at the age of 88 years.
Mrs. Cook had worked for Siegel & Roberts Plating Company in St. Louis. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
She was united in marriage on March 12, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas to Ezra Allen Cook. Mr. Cook preceded her in death on March 30, 1994.
Survivors include; one son, Allen Cook(Sue) of St. Louis, Missouri; three daughters, Carolyn Jonas(Steve) of High Ridge, Missouri, Sharon Repinski(Dennis) of Maryland Heights, Missouri, and Brenda Hogg(Carl) of Manchester, Missouri; by three brothers, Robert Garner, Marvin Garner, and Loyd Garner all of Dexter, Missouri; by one sister, Maxine Gillis of Dexter, Missouri; by eight grandchildren, Steve Jonas Jr., Daniel Jonas, Michael Jonas, Christopher Cook, Julie Cook, Jacob Hogg, Adam Cook and Benjamin Cook; and by seven great-grandchildren, Isaiah Jonas, Elijah Jonas, Olivia Cook, Chase Cook, Nina Cook, Wyatt Cook and Jeffery Cook.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ivan Garner, Hubert Garner, Chester Garner, Larry Garner and by two sisters, Emma Stallion and Norma Grubbs.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Bobby Garner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery.

In Memory of Laveta Leah Cooper Stanford

Laverta “Leah” Cooper Stanford, daughter of the late Floyd V. Cooper and Cleo Bornemann Cooper was born on February 27, 1949 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on February 7, 2018 at her residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 68 years.
She was a former Social Worker with CASA and Americorp in Memphis, Tennessee. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 2008 where she attended the Mt. Auburn Christian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Terri Stanford May and Emmanuel of Paragould, Arkansas and Jennifer Stanford of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by one brother, Edsel Cooper of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two sisters, Carolyn Kinder of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Charlene Viets of Henderson, Kentucky; by seven grandchildren, Bobby Staggs, Coty Stanford, Brittany Staggs, Meagan Staggs, Brooklynn May, Cheyenne Staggs and Jonathan May; by one great-grandson, Mason Carmack: by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In Memory of Bill McRoy

Bill “Cowboy” McRoy of Bloomfield, son of the late Alexander and Oma Bowman McRoy, was born in Bell City, Missouri on June 5, 1931, passed away at the Bloomfield Nursing Center on February 5, 2018, at the age of 86 years and 8 months.
Bill had lived in the Bloomfield area most of his life. He had worked for Pyramid Roofing as a forman before his retirement and was a member of the Dexter Eagles Aerie for many years.
On March 12, 1959, he was married to Reva Jane Euin in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife Reva McRoy of Bloomfield; six sons & spouses, Ron & Joella McRoy of Dexter, Billy and Carl McRoy both of Fairfield, Iowa, Bill & Lois Saylors of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Frank & Kathy McRoy and Lloyd & Laura McRoy all of Bloomfield; six daughters & spouses, Lula Belle Stroud of Arizona, Ruth Reynolds of Dexter, Judy & Kenny Ewing and JoAnn & James Whittley all of Bloomfield, Faye & Doug Stitt of Montrose, Michigan, Michelle McRoy of Florida; thirty-three grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one brother, Robert “Bob” McRoy of Bowing Green, Kentucky; and one sister, Mary Gilbee of Overland, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Charlie, Vester, Elmer, John and Herman McRoy and four sisters, Kathryn Lay, Dollie Cravens, Ida Robinson and Grace Collins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tim Griffin of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
