In Memory of Thomas Franklin Runzi
Thomas Franklin Runzi, 77 of Puxico, formally of Longmont, Colorado died February 1, 2018 at his home. 

Mr. Runzi was born November 14, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Theodore and Ruth (née Ficken) Runzi. They proceed him in death.

He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Colorado antique association and the Colorado archaeology society.

Survivors include five sons, Krag Of Puxico, Kirk of Bellflower, MO, Clay of Stafford Virginia, Matt of Melbourne, Australia and Mike Runzi of Saint Charles Missouri; one daughter Aimee Verhaeg of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother William Runzi of Oakville, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Also proceeding in death were two grandchildren Owen and Jacob Runzi.

Friends may call upon the family Monday February 5, 2018 at 1 o’clock P.M. in the Morgan Sifford funeral home Chapel with the funeral to follow at 2:00 PM also in the chapel with Rev. Krag Runzi serving as officiant.

Internment will immediately follow in the New Hope cemetery in McGee Missouri.

In Memory of Barbara Ann Williams
Barbara Ann Williams, daughter of the late Delbert G. Essen and Christina Edith Elizabeth Stone Essen was born in St. Louis Missouri on April 4, 1941 and departed this life at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 3, 2018 at the age of 76.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Ray Williams in Ellisville, Missouri on September 12, 1959.  Mr. Williams preceded his wife in death on October 30, 2012.

Survivors include three sons, Lonnie Williams of Bernie, Missouri, Jeffery Williams of Dexter, Missouri and Rodney Williams of Bernie, Missouri; by three brothers, Louis William Essen of Gretna, Nebraska, Delbert Griffin Essen Jr. of Benton, Illinois and John Charles Essen of Jefferson City, Missouri; by ten Grandchildren and thirteen Great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one son, Anthony Lee Williams; by one brother, Bernard Allen Essen; and by one grandson, Colin Matthew Williams.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Tuesday Evening, February 6, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Stan Dauck officiating.   

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial maybe made to:

In Memory of Alice Creg
Alice Creg daughter of the late Homer E. Crews and Faye Hartley Crews was born on November 23, 1940 in Venice, Illinois and departed this life on February 3, 2018 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 77 years.

Mrs. Creg was the Co-Owner of Creg Appraisal Service in Bloomfield, Missouri and was of the Baptist faith.

On December 23, 1956 she was united in marriage to Alfred Wayne Creg in Dexter, Missouri.  Mr. Creg survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband Wayne Creg, she is survived by one son, Daniel Wayne Creg of Dexter and by one daughter, Robin Lynn Jones also of Dexter; by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Crews, David Crews, and Tommy Crews; by one sister, Jessie Gardner.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of James Edward Wade III
James Edward Wade III, son of the late James Wade Jr. and Violet Mitchell Wade was born on November 25, 1960 at St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on February 1, 2018 in the Southeast Health of Stoddard County Emergency Room at the age of 57.

Mr. Wade was a band teacher in the Dexter and Richland Public School Districts.  He was a member of the United Church of God in Poplar Bluff.  He was also a member of the Band Directors Association.

On August 17, 1984 he was united in marriage to Jean Mitchell in St. Louis, Missouri.  Mrs. Wade survives of their residence in Dexter.

Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Jon’Ross Wade of Cheyenne, Wyoming; by three daughters, Jerica Renee Wade of Dexter, Amber Moreland of Okeechobee, Florida and Jessica Tanner of Paragould, Arkansas; by three brothers, Mike and wife Linda Wade of DeSoto, Missouri, Robert “Bobby” Wade of Seattle, Washington and Randy and wife Tonya Wade of Dexter; by two sisters, Kathy and husband Tim Spruell of House Springs, Missouri and Brenda and husband Donald Reazin of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Carson Fry, Avarie Belle Wade, Scarlett Wade, Gianna Harris and Hailey Harris and by his mother and father in law, Marian and Herbert Mitchell of Sikeston, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 4:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. 

A memorial service will then be conducted on Monday, at 6:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Collison officiating.

In Memory of Mike Blaylock
Michael “Mike” Blaylock, son of the late James Blaylock and Evelyn Tanner LaLonde was born on June 23, 1950 and departed this life on January 17, 2018 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67 years.

Mr. Blaylock served in the United States Air Force and was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran and a resident of Sikeston, Missouri. He also attended the Puxico Public Schools.

Survivors include: his Uncle LeRoy Tanner of Fairfield, Illinois; by his Aunt Nadine Hendrix of Puxico, Missouri and many cousins; by his cousin and caretaker, Janice Riggins; by special cousin, Chad Riggins II and many family and friends.

The family welcomes the public to a graveside service that will be held on February 9, 2018 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 11:00 A.M.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
