As a junior, she had 506 kills, 99 block, 61 assists, 242 digs, and 32 aces. What a year!! Due to an injury she was unable to play her senior year, but her stats speak volumes as to what she completed in her high school career. She finished with a total of 954 kills, 190 blocks, 357 digs, 116 aces, and 601 assists.
"That's amazing, truly amazing!" commented head volleyball coach Carmen Morgan.
Garrison will go on to play basketball for the Lady cats where she led the team in scoring as a sophomore averaged more than 14 points per game and 9 rebounds per game. Though she missed the first few months of her junior basketball season with a torn labrum she still managed to average 14 points per game and 5 rebounds in the games she was able to play.
"She is a phenomenal athlete," Morgan said. "New Mexico State is lucky to have her and we will miss her terribly."
Good luck Krysten!! You may see her on ESPN or FoxSports!
