Ronald Peters, age 74 of Dexter MO died suddenly on November 19 in Low Moor VA. Ronald was born on September 5, 1943 in Puxico MO to Dwight and Stella Peters, and he married Karen McGhee on October 12, 1963 in Puxico.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Leslie Tucker and husband Jay, John Peters, and Sarah Sandusky, all of Dexter; five grandchildren, Debra Winters, Lauren Peters, Emily Peters, Sean Sandusky, and Rivers Peters; and two great-grandchildren, Kira Winters and Bryson Gordon. One brother survives, Dallas Peters and wife Margie of Dexter; also three sisters, Alice Latham and husband Don of Sikeston MO, Sheila Johnston and husband Don of Sparks NV, and Janiece Gill of Cape Girardeau MO.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his son Robert Peters, his granddaughter Maura Peters, and his great-grandson Bryson Umfleet.
A private graveside service will be held at Puxico City Cemetery, and Ronald's life will be celebrated at First United Methodist Church in Dexter on November 29.
Visitation will begin at 9:30, and a memorial service will be conducted by Rev Ron Beaton at 12:00 noon.

In Memory of Tina Joyce Kirkman

Tina Joyce Kirkman daughter of the late Tom Bolin and Emma Vincent Bolin was born on February 22, 1958 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on November 21, 2017 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 59.
Mrs. Kirkman was a certified nursing assistant at the Chaffee Nursing Center. She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center and a resident of Dexter.
On December 23, 1973 she was united in marriage to Jim Kirkman in Bernie. Mr. Kirkman survives of their residence in Dexter.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Eric Kirkman of Chillicothe, Ohio and Jimmie and wife Laura Kirkman of Dexter; by one daughter, Christina Kirkman of Delta, Missouri; by one brother, Calvin Bolin of St. Charles, Illinois; by four sisters, Barbara McDonald of Bernie, Janie Taylor of Benton, Yvonne Barrese of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Margaret Simpson of Bernie; by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie LeeAnn Kirkman; by two brothers and by one sister.
Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (NOON).
Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at Noon in the Lighthouse Christian Center with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

In Memory of Edward Pride Alsup

Edward Pride Alsup, son of the late Cecil Alsup and Alice Davis Alsup was born on January 28, 1920 in Athens, Alabama and departed this life on November 18, 2017 at the SoutheastHealth of Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 97.
Mr. Alsup was a member of the First Church of God and was a resident of Dexter. He worked as a farmer and was retired from Brown Shoe Factory.
On December 28, 1939 he was united in marriage to Grace Stanford in Charleston, Missouri. Mrs. Alsup preceded him in death on March 16, 1999.
He is survived by two sons, James Alsup of Munford, Tennessee and Kenneth Alsup of Dexter; by one daughter, Doris McClellan of Dexter; by three brothers, Royce Alsup of Decatur, Alabama, J.W. Alsup of Dexter and Don Alsup of Portland, Oregon; by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Alsup and by one sister, Etha Mae Alsup.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Leonard Madigan officiating.

Katherine Marie Kosark was born on June 29, 1940 in Gibson County, Tennessee to the late Richard Mingle & Lorena Foster Mingle.
She departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2017 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 77 years 4 months and 21 days.
Katherine Marie Kosark was a housewife and was a of member of the Bernie General Baptist Church in Bernie, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jerry Kosark in 2004. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2007.
Her survivors include daughter Mary Loy and husband, Dennis Loyd, Jr. of Malden, MO, two sons, Charles Johnson of Bernie, MO and Benny Johnson of Milan, TN, eight grandchildren David Reed, Krystal Santos, Randi Baker, Nicholas Smith, Amanda Johnson, William Springston, Alex Loyd & Sasha Loyd and 16 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter: Carol Johnson & her brother: Dickey Mingle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 3-5 P.M.
A visitation will be held at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee from 1-3 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2017 and funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M.
Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dyer ,Tennessee.

Mary Maxine Webb, daughter of the late Carl F. Gales and Carry Opal Williams Gales was born on October 16, 1925 in Piggott, Arkansas and departed this life on November 20, 2017 at the Breeze Park Senior Living Community in Weldon Springs, Missouri at the age of 92.
Mrs. Webb was a Cosmetologist/Beautician for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, Missouri.
On July 2, 1949, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Webb. Mr. Webb preceded her in death on January 28, 2009.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Webb of O’Fallon, Missouri; by three sisters, Peggy E Huey of Fulton, Missouri, Pauline Nelson of Dexter, Missouri and Joan Osburn of Benton, Arkansas.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray Gales and Norman Lewis Gales.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Kennedy officiating.
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
