In Memory of James Irvin Thomason
James Irvin Thomason the son of the late Nolan Travis and Virginia Elizabeth Williams Thomason was born September 17, 1937 in Harrell, Arkansas.

He was a retired farmer, served in the Missouri National Guard, a member of the Bernie Church of Christ.

On August 18, 1961 in Malden, MO he was united in marriage to JoAn White who preceded him in death on October 17, 1997. On May 8, 1998 in Sikeston, Missouri he was united in marriage to Wanda Lape Beaird, who mourns his death.

Mr. Thomason died Friday, November 17, 2017 in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 80 years and 2 months.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Thomason of Malden, MO, 1 son, Brian Thomason and wife Amy of Risco, MO, 2 step/sons, Mark Beaird of Parma, MO, Jeff Beaird and wife Chastity of Bernie, MO, 1 step/daughter, Tamra Terry and husband Randy of Dexter, MO, 2 brothers, Royce Thomason of Malden, MO, Ronnie Thomason and wife Nola of Bernie, MO, 1 sister Alice Smith and husband Larry of Cape Girardeau, MO, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Bruce Thomason and 1 sister, Margaret Bess.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, MO.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Bernie, with Mr Stan Dauck officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, MO.

In Memory of Opal Pauline Smith
Opal Pauline Smith, daughter of the late Owen Montgomery and Edna Moser Montgomery was born on February 1, 1922 in Bexar, Arkansas and departed this life on November 18, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 95 years.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bernie and a former resident of Bernie, Missouri.

On June 15, 1940 she was united in marriage to Cranston Columbus Smith in Byron, Arkansas.  Mr. Smith preceded her in death on October 14, 1999.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Smith (Judy) of Clarksville, Arkansas and Randy Smith (Cathy) of Dexter; by one daughter Judy Freed (Danny) of Bernie; by one Daughter-in-law, Judy Smith of Bernie;  one sister Shirley Doyle of Henrico, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Wayne Smith; two brothers, Ralph Montgomery and James Montgomery; also by one sister, Pat Martin.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 19, 2017.   

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Gary Gilbert officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Lois Robinson
Lois Robinson, daughter of the late Harley Williams and Oma Medlock Williams was born on August 19, 1938 in Flint, Michigan and departed this life on November 16, 2017 in Marble Hill, Missouri at the age of 79.

Lois was a former employee at Save-A-Lot and was a resident of Marble Hill, Missouri.

In April of 1985, she was united in marriage to Sammy Robinson in Dexter, Missouri. He survives of the home. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Roger Lynch of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Mark Lynch of Slida, Colorado; by two sisters, Leta Keena and Susy Hoosier both of Bloomfield, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Brian Lynch, Brandon Lynch, and Amber Mueller and by four great-grandchildren. 
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dan Williams, Dale Williams, Bill Williams and Paul Williams and by four sisters, Mary Bell, Rebecca Williams, Myrna Kidd, and Sarah Hewitt.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Ritter officiating.

In Memory of Joey Kimbrel
Joey Kimbrel, son of Donald Joe and Emma Nell Williamson Kimbrel, was born on March 2, 1977, and passed away near Doniphan, Missouri on November 10, 2017, at the age of 40 years, 8 month and 5 days.

Joey had lived in Bloomfield all of his life and had attended the South Pleasant Valley Church near Dexter.

Surviving are his parents, Donald & Emma Kimbrel of Bloomfield; two sons, D. J. Kimbrel of Essex, Carmeron Edwards of Dexter; two daughters, Kalie Whalen of Dexter, Kelsey Kimbrel of Essex; three sisters and spouses, Pam & Eric Mouser of Dexter, Missy & Terry Douglas and Jamie Kimbrel all of Bloomfield. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arvel & Frances Fay Williamson and James Eli and Mildred Alice Kimbrel.

Friends may visit on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Sam Brotherton of Wappappello officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rock Point Cemetery near Leora, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Hester Virginia Laws was born on July 26, 1923   in Little Walnut Missouri to the late Harry B. Kneibert & Ethel M. Blades Kneibert.  

She departed this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing  in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 94 years 3 months and 19 days.

Hester Virginia Laws had been the Laundry Supervisor at Malden Nursing in Malden and was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden.  She was united in marriage to Alva Ramey Laws on July 24, 1959 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1978.

Her  survivors include: Daughter: Jemmalee Hisaw & husband, John of Malden, three Grandsons: Jonathan Hisaw of Malden, Jeremy Hisaw & special friend, Manuel Acevedo of Chicago, Illinois & Jon Blayne Hisaw & wife, Elizabeth of Godfrey, Illinois, three Great-grandchildren: Clayton Long, London Hisaw & Mila Hisaw of Godfrey, Illinois, a sister: Mary Catherine McGrath & husband, M.A. of Ocala, Florida. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, twin brother: Harry B. Kneibert, Jr., 2 sisters: Mildred Brannan & Katie Kneibert , a half brother: Edward Hampton and a half-sister: Edith Sanders. 
     
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 12-2 P.M.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Richard Blagg officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park  Cemetery in Malden.
