SCAA 7th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament Begins Saturday, Nov 11th

Marble Hill, Missouri - Woodland R-IV School District will be the home of the Stoddard County Athletic Association (SCAA) Junior High/Middle School boys basketball tournaments this year.  All the fun begins on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Here are the seeds, times, and dates for the 7th grade boys basketball tournament.

Rankings:

#1 Dexter

#2 Advance

#3 Bernie

#4 Woodland

#5 Puxico

#6 Bloomfield

#7 Bell City

Dexter 7th grade boys basketball team earned the #1 seed and has a bye on Saturday.

Advance seeded #2 will play #7 ranked Bell City at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Bernie earned the #3 seed and will play #6 seeded Bloomfield at noon on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Woodland seeded #4 will play #5 Puxico at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Dexter will play the winner of the Woodland/Puxico game on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

The other semifinal game is slated for Monday at 5:45 p.m. with the Championship to be held on Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Third place consolation game will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14th.

2017 Fall Sports Senior Night Featuring Trevor McDonald

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School celebrated Fall Sports Senior Night on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Charles Bland Stadium.  There were 42 seniors featured on the field prior to the start of the Dexter Bearcats/Malden Green Wave football game.

Trevor McDonald is a member of the Dexter Bearcat Football Team.

He is the son of Jason and Stacie McDonald.

He has been a member of football all four years of high school and basketball one year.

Trevor is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is DECA's Vice President of Finance.

His future plans are to attend Murray State University.

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School celebrated Fall Sports Senior Night on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Charles Bland Stadium.  There were 42 seniors featured on the field prior to the start of the Dexter Bearcats/Malden Green Wave football game.

Dylan Long is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country Team and the Dexter Bearcat Marching Band.

He is the son of Tony and Misty Long.

Dylan has been a member of Cross Country, Track and Field, and Band all four years of high school.

He is a member of the Scholar Bowl, the Robotics Club, Model UN, and Sr. Beta Club.

His future plans to attending Missouri State and major in Physics.

Emily Ladd is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country Team.

She is the daughter of Barry and Inga Ladd.

She has been a member of the cross country team and the field and track team all four years of high school.

Emily is also a member of Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Model UN, and Scholar Bowl.

Her future plans are to attend a four year university.  She has not decided on a college or major of study.

Dawson Kasting is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country Team.

He is the son of Charles and Kelly Kasting.

He has been a member of Cross Country two years, basketball four years, and track and field all four years of high school.

Dawson is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Sr. Beta Club, and Model UN.

He was the 2016 Male Cross Country Runner of the Year.

His future plans are to run Cross Country or Track at the college level.
