DHS 2017 Fall Sports Awards

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Fall Sports Recognition Banquet on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the high school auditorium.

Athletes competing in football, cross country, volleyball, girls tennis and football cheer were recognized at the event.  Awards, certificates, first time letter winners and the ultimate Charles Bland Award were given to athletes throughout the evening. 

Volleyball

Kill and Block Award went to Hannah Thurmon

Setting Award went to Bailee Williams

Defense Award went to Megan Trout

Heart and Hustle Award went to Addie Kruse

Football

Most Valuable Lineman Award - Luke Boyer

Most Valuable Back Award - Caleb Hoggard

Most Valuable Defensive Award - Bo McMullin

Most Valuable Player Award - Gabe Jackson

Charles Bland Award - Ben Sindle

Cross Country

Outstanding Female Runner - Emily Ladd

Outstanding Male Runner - Dawson Kasting

Girls Tennis

Bearcat Award - Malia Cook

Bearcat Award - Riley Thornton

Most Improved Player - Hannah Bollinger

Sportsmanship Award - Morgan Aldridge
