2017 Tiny Mr. Fall Fest Pageant Winners

Dexter, Missouri - The Historic Downtown Dexter Association held their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  A Fall Fest Pageant was held at the Dexter Depot/Welcome Center.

The 2017 Tiny Mr. Fall Fest King is Layne Wade.

First Alternate is Lennox Maze and second alternate is JJ Seabaugh.

Veterans Day Observance to be Held at the Bearcat Event Center

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School Bearcat Event Center will once again be the location of the Veterans Day Observance Program to be held on Friday, November 10th at 9:30 a.m.

The event is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, the City of Dexter, the Dexter Public Schools, and the Crowley's Ridge and Chalk Bluff Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mr. Earl Metcalf, a Vietnam Veteran will be the guest speaker.

This event is free and open to the public. The entire Dexter student body will be in attendance.  The DHS Choir and the DHS Band will perform.

Veterans will be recognized and will stand when they hear the official song of their military branch, played by the Dexter High School band.

Other awards will be presented and students are working hard on their patriotic posters.

Dexter, Missouri - Modern Woodmen of America Chapter 7649 matched funds of $2,500 for the Celebrate Fall Fundraiser Held October 10th for Mother-to-Mother.

With MWA funds at total of $7,529 was raised!
