Bloomfield, Missouri - On Tuesday, October 10, 2017 the Bloomfield Wildcats Volleyball Team celebrated and honored senior Jewel Chism.
Jewel is the daughter of Rob and Michelle Chism.
She has been a member of the volleyball team all four years of high school and is active in Sr. Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, and Pep Club.
Her favorite sport is volleyball and she also loves to paint and draw.
One of her favorite things to do is collect volleyball hardware.
Her favorite volleyball memory was the game to go to State her freshman year. Chelsea DeLay got a yellow card and when the referee pulled the card out, everything in his pocket went flying.
Her future plans are to go to college and obtain an art degree.
Missouri - The Class 2 District 2 MSHSAA High School Volleyball post-season bracket has been released.
The 2017 Volleyball District Tournament will be held at Puxico High School on Monday, October 16th and Tuesday, October 18th.
Bloomfield received the #1 seed with a record of 19-3 in regular season play. They also received a bye for Monday night.
Puxico (5-10) will play Clearwater (9-14-3) at 5 p.m.
Woodland (16-9-2) will play Charleston (2-2102) at 6 p.m.
Greenville (14-14-4) will play Scott City (6-16-3) at 7:00p.m.
The winner of the Puxico/Clearwater game will play Bloomfield in semifinal action at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17th.
The winners of the Woodland/Charleston and Greenville/Scott City games will play at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Championship will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17th at Puxico High School.
Marble Hill, Missouri - The 2017 Stoddard County Volleyball Tournament continues on Wednesday evening at Woodland High School with Junior Varsity and Varsity Bracket play.

Winner of that game will play #1 Dexter JV at 6:30 p.m.
5:15 p.m. #3 Bloomfield JV vs #6 Puxico JV
Winner of that game will play #2 Advance JV at 7:15 p.m.
Friday 3rd Place game will be played at 4 p.m. and the Junior Varsity Championship will be played at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017.

Third place game will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the Championship game at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Cross Country team has released their 2017 high school schedule. Their first meet is September 9th at Arcadia Valley. There will be two opportunities to see the runners at home. They will host two meets this year. The Stoddard County Athletic Association Conference Meet will be held at Bloomfield on October 9th along with one home meet on October 12th.
