In Memory of Lex Donaldson
Lex Donaldson, son of the late Ezekial Donaldson and Cordelia McGlaun Donaldson, was born in Topoccola, Michigan on November 10, 1922 and departed this life in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on September 11, 2017 at the age of 94.
 
Mr. Donaldson was a Veteran of the United States Army and had served during World War II. He was a hard working farm hand, was a member of House Church of God in Christ of Parma, Missouri and was a resident of Malden.
 
He was untied in marriage to Earsie Mae Davis in Piggott, Arkansas on January 14, 1949. Mrs. Donaldson preceded her husband in death on May 8, 1998.
 
Survivors include two sons, Lon V. Jones of Cleveland, Ohio and Tommie Lee Donaldson, Malden, Missouri; by three daughters, Virginia Lee Pulley and Marilyn Donaldson both of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Eula Mae Donaldson of Malden, Missouri; by one sister, Linda Louise Dixon of Mt. Clemens, Michigan; by 17 Grandchildren and by numerous Great-grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
 
He was preceded in death other than by his parents and his wife, by five brothers, John E. Donaldson, Roy Edward Donaldson, Jack Donaldson, John William Donaldson and Tommy Donaldson; by three sisters, Molly Mae Donaldson, Luedna Donaldson and Christine Donaldson.
 
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M.  

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie at 1:00 P.M. with Elder Samuel Elliot Pulley officiating.

Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Malden, Missouri with Full Military Honors. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
