Shirley Joyce Timberlake, daughter of the late William Edward Robinson and Dessie Ray Pulliam Robinson was born in Dudley, Missouri on February 28, 1935 and departed this life in Hunter Acres Caring Center of Sikeston, Missouri on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the age of 82.
Ms. Timberlake was a homemaker, was a beloved Aunt and had Mothered the Whole Palmer Family and was a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include her five Nephews, Jack W. Palmer & wife Mary of Bernie, Missouri, Ronald G. Palmer of Bernie, Missouri, Larry D. Palmer & wife Joyce of Bloomfield, Missouri, Johnny R. & wife Sheri of Bernie, Missouri and Mark “Randy” Palmer & wife Vivian of Wesley Chapel, Florida; by five Nieces, Sandra K. Cryts of Bernie, Missouri, Linda F. Merritt of Bernie, Missouri, Rita A Burch & husband Glen of Bernie, Missouri, Brenda E. Smith & husband Larry of Bloomfield, Missouri and Sally J. Cloninger of Bernie, Missouri; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by one sister, Dorothy Beatrice Robinson Palmer; by three brothers, Albert Edward Robinson, Kenneth Donald Robinson and Rev. Wilford Eugene Robinson; by three nieces, Deborah Palmer, Linda Jane Ford and Kathleen A. Smetana; by one nephew, Thomas William Robinson.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
A memorial service will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel starting at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements.

In Memory of George Aaron Edwards

George Aaron Edwards, son of the late James Aaron Edwards and Patricia Reed Edwards was born on December 27, 1955 in Mayfield, Kentucky and departed this life on August 30, 2017 at his residence in West Fork, Arkansas at the age of 61.
Mr. Edwards was a retired Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Gulf War.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife Suzanne Harrell Edwards, his son Aaron J. Edwards, his daughter Melanie Howard, stepsons Johnathan Cole and Cordell Cole, his brother David Edwards and grandchildren, Ava Jessalyn Howard, Michael Thomas Howard and Brooklyn Eliana Cole.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Full Military Honors.
The family is requesting donations to Disabled American Veterans in lieu of flowers.

In Memory of Billy Lee Ross

Billy Lee Ross, son of the late William Oren Ross and Blanche Pauline Grubbs Ross was born on January 6, 1940 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on September 2, 2017 at the Southeast Health Center Emergency Room in Dexter at the age of 77 years.
Mr. Ross was a Farmer for many years and a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
On September 19, 1999, he was united in marriage to Betty Lou Brackney in Dexter, Missouri. Mrs. Ross survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, survivors include four sons, William “Buddy” Ross of Las Vegas, Nevada; Donald Ross and Billy Joe Ross both of Dexter, and James Ross and wife Mary Kay of Bloomfield, Missouri; by three daughters, Tammy Lamirand of Bakersfield, California, Jeanie Weldon of Titusville, Florida, and Polly Ann Scowden of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Don Ross of Bloomfield, Missouri and Dean Ross of Hazelwood, Missouri; three sisters, Margaret Moore of Dexter, Missouri, Pam Rowland of Bloomfield, Missouri and Rhonda Tong of Wisconsin; also by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kelly Scott Ross and by three sisters, Dorothy Lawrence, Joyce Goodman, Charlotte Lynn Ross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will follow at a later date.

In Memory of C.L. Wigg Maddox

C. L. “Wigg” Maddox, son of the late Orphie Jane Lawson Maddox was born on July 28, 1927 in Leplanto, Arkansas and departed this life on August 31, 2017 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 90.
Mr. Maddox was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in WW2. He was a farmer in the Essex, Missouri area. He had a love for all animals.
On February 5, 1949, he was united in marriage to Vivian Grant in Piggott, Arkansas. She survives of the home in Essex, Missouri
Survivors include one son, Bob Maddox of Essex, Missouri; two daughters, Sandy Edwards and husband Roger and Glenda Smith all of Dexter, Missouri; by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and by one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three grandsons, Bobby Carl Maddox, Robert James Maddox and Kevin Lynn Maddox; by three brothers, Beck Maddox, George Maddox, and Warren Maddox; by two sisters, Christina Hasty and Alene Gillean.
Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
Services were conducted on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Malloy officiating. Interment followed at the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of Phyllis June Duley Bailey

Phyllis June Duley Bailey, daughter of the late Leo Duley and Evelyn Rainey Duley was born on March 10, 1949 and departed this life on August 30, 2017 at the Southeast Health of Stoddard County Emergency Room at the age of 68.
Phyllis was a nurse for the Veteran’s Administration for 25 years from 1975 to 2000. She attended the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to James Walden Walker on December 31, 1978 in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on June 13, 1989.
Survivors include one son, Joseph B. Walker of Dexter, Missouri and one nephew, Christopher B. Jones also of Dexter, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Payne officiating.
Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery
