Dexter, Missouri - Our retiring 2016 Miss DHS is Ashlynn Wyman.
Ashlynn is the daughter of Steve and Jana Wyman.
She is a 2017 Dexter High School graduation and is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau.
As a student at Dexter High School Ashlyn was Student Body President, Sr. Beta President, varsity basketball cheerleader, and varsity volleyball players.
She was escorted tonight by Logan Wyman.
Logan is her brother and is also the son of Steven and Jana Wyman.
Logan say of his sister, "I miss her.....kind of."
Dexter, Missouri - The tenth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Bailee Williams.
Bailee is the daughter of Steve and Casey Williams.
Her activities include varsity volleyball team, varsity basketball cheerleader, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Sr. Beta Club, and National Honor Society.
Her future plans are to attend Arkansas State University and major in physical therapy.
She was escorted by Spencer Warren.
Spencer is the son of Tim and Dawn Warren.
Spencer's three words to describe Bailee are, Athletic, Outgoing, and Beautiful."
Dexter, Missouri - The seventh candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Riley Thornton.
Riley is the daughter of Monica Thornton and Dennis Thornton.
Her activities include girls' tennis team, women's choir, Sr. Beta Club, FCCLA, and the Drama, Speech, and Debate Team.
Riley's future plans are to attend college at Southeast Missouri State University to major in acting with a minor in broadcasting!
Riley was escorted by Greyson Stephens.
Greyson is the son of John and Joan Stephens.
Greyson's three words to describe Riley, "Kind, Smart, and Courteous."
Dexter, Missouri - The fifth candidate of the evening for the 2017 Miss DHS was senior, Amber Scott.
Amber is the daughter of Deny and Sharon Scott.
Her activities include Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, Marching Band, Scholar Bowl Team, and the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.
Her future plans are to attend Loyola University in Chicago. She is majoring in entrepreneurship and wants to create a business of her own.
She was escorted by Jordan Adams.
Jordan is the son of Jody and Becky Adams.
He described Amber as, "Beautiful, Intelligent, and Kind."
