William Lemons, son of the late William Russell Lemons Sr. and Maxine Maisel Lemons was born on December 5, 1942 in Delta, Missouri and departed this life on July 18, 2017 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 74.

Mr. Lemons was a veteran of The United States Marine Corps serving during The Vietnam War.

He was a Maintenance Supervisor for General Electric in St. Louis, Missouri for 32 years, a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter, a member of the Dexter Lions Club and a resident of Dexter.

On November 9, 1963, he was united in marriage to Ann Bryant in Dexter, Missouri. Mrs. Lemons survives of the home in Dexter, Missouri.

Besides his wife, survivors include one daughter, Diana Whittington of Dexter; one son, Brian Lemons of White Oak, Georgia; by five grandchildren, Zack Lemons, Nick Lemons, Josh Lemons, Aleah Lemons and Jake Lemons.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
