In Memory of Berneice Flanigan

Berneice Flanigan, daughter of the late Earl Souders and Gladys Turpin Souders was born on July 8, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on July 17, 2017 in Corning, Arkansas at the age of 93 years.
Mrs. Flanigan was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, a Home-maker, and a former resident of Wappapello, Missouri where she served as a volunteer for twenty-two years.
On September 2, 1976, she was united in marriage to George W. Flanigan in Sikeston, Missouri. Mr. Flanigan passed away on April 8, 2015.
Survivors include three step-sons, Albert Cottonaro of Lake Egypt, Illinois, Mike Flanigan and wife Dana of Marion, Illinois, and Keith Flanigan and wife Bunny of Tovey, Illinois; by one step-daughter, Patty Dawson and husband Matt; two step-great-grandchildren, Dakota and Dylan Dawson; one nephew John Jones and wife Janie; also by two nieces, Carolyn Harold and husband Don and Janet Byrd and husband Richard Jr.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter at infancy, Vivian Ann Maddux.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.
