Mark Williamson, son of the late Billy Williamson and Wilma Dunn Williamson was born on March 23, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life at his residence in Essex, Missouri on July 5, 2017 at the age of 69.

Mr. Williamson was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, a Compliance Director for Louisiana State Board of Contractors and was a resident of Essex.

On July 11, 1970 he was united in marriage to Carla Norman in Essex. Mrs. Williamson survives of their home in Essex.

He is survived by one son, Bradley Williamson and his wife Kristina of Gonzales, Louisiana; by one daughter, Mandy Germann and her husband Josh of Holly Springs, North Carolina; by one sister, Sharon Plutipodis of Essex, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Cody Williamson, Macy Williamson, Caden Germann and Allison Germann; by his caregiver and close friend, Stacy Freeman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Williamson and one sister, Vicki Jo Williamson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield.
