Bloomfield, Missouri - The Stoddard County Historical Society will meet on Saturday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. with special guest presenters.
The 6th Missouri D Company will be at the Stars & Stripes Museum and discuss Civil War Fashion Show and Other Interesting Facts.
The even it free and the public is encouraged to participate.
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Sassy Stitchers Quilt Club donated a quilt to the Stars & Stripes Museum to be raffled to raised funds for the museum.
Tickets are $1.00 each for 6 for $5.00 and are available at the museum during regular museum hours. The raffle will be held at the 2017 Liberty Days on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
The quilt club meets at the First General Baptist Church on Christian Drive in Bloomfield every Monday at 9:30 a.m. They are actively recruiting new members.

Bernie, Missouri - The Bernie Masonic Lodge gave away several bicycles to Risco and Bernie students as a part of the Bikes for Book programs sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Missouri.
Risco sixth grade student Haley Hensley was one of several students to received a free bike from the Bernie Masonic Lodge.
"We will be giving away bicycles to the Risco Public Schools and the Bernie Public Schools as part of the Bikes for Book program," stated David Gasser, Master at the Bernie Masonic Lodge. "The program is sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Missouri."
