![Robison Receives Regional Healthcare Foundation Scholarship](/img_v7l2_910_800.png)
Dexter, Missouri - Bloomfield graduating senior, Caroline Robison, was named the winner of the Regional Healthcare Foundation's Annual $10,000 college scholarship for 2017 at the RHF Annual Membership Meeting held at Cox Corner.
Robison is the daughter of Bill and Tracy Robison.
She plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia in the fall and pursue a degree in biology on a pre-med track to eventually earn a professional degree in medicine.
Caroline attended the Summer College for Rising High School Seniors Program at the University of Mississippi in 2016 and attended Mini Medical School last year at Mizzou's School of Medicine.

Dexter, Missouri - Alexis May is the 2017 recipient of the Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship.
Presenting the scholarship are Laura Lee Stone, Tracy Gant, and Debbie Essner, Beta Sigma Phi members.
Each year, a Dexter senior is selected to receive this $500 scholarship.
Alexis is the daughter of Perry May and Patty May. Her grandparents are James Barber and the late Helen Barber of Essex, Missouri, and Don May and the late Jane May of Dexter, Missouri.
May is active in Student Council, Foreign Language Club, Teen Age Republicans Club, FCCLA, Future Teachers of America, Rotary Interact, Dexter Honors Society, and Teens against Smoking Coalition.
Alexis also joined Sr. Beta Club, a new club at Dexter High School, and is on the Beta Executive Board.
She received the Doubles Award in Tennis her junior year and lettered in tennis her freshman, sophomore, and junior year.
Her future plans are to attend Arkansas State University and become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
She enjoys reading, playing tennis, and attending football and basketball games. She attends Faith Lutheran Church and is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Dexter, Missouri - There are several events taking place over the next couple of weeks that summer school students will have the opportunity to participate in during school hours.
On Tuesday, June 6th the PTO will host a Scholastic Book Fair with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free and is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Southwest Elementary Gym.
On Wednesday, June 7th students who have completed 80% attendance and returned a signed permission form will travel to the Dexter Aquatic Center to swim.
On Friday, June 9th and Tuesday, June 13th there will be a Wildlife Conservation Presentation. Central and Middle School Students will participate on June 9th while the Southwest Elementary students participate on June 13th.
On Friday, June 16th KONA ICE will visit students. Make sure each student brings $3.00 for their yummy treats.
On the last day of Summer School, June 20th the students who have 80% attendance and have returned their signed permission slip will have a swim party.
There are weekly drawings for attendance prizes for FREE Kids Meals from Sonic, Pool passes to Dexter Aquatic Center and Kona Ice Coupons on upgrades to refillable cups. Don't miss school!!!!

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Parent Teachers Organization (PTO) will host a Scholastic Book Fair at Southwest Elementary in Dexter on Tuesday, June 6, 2017
This event will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
It’s a great way to stock up on series packs and all kinds of books for summer reading. You can even get a bargain early for Christmas! They have books for pre-k through 6th grade.
It’s a Buy One, Get One Free book fair! Open to the public and free to browse for your favorite author or book.

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors students with Positive Office Referral certificates.
This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter.
Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.
