US Post Office Food Drive Set for Saturday, May 13th

Dexter, Missouri - The United State Postal Service City Carrier Union Members are hosting a FOOD DRIVE on Saturday, May 13th.  What does this mean?

It means if you live in the city limits of Dexter place your non-perishable food items by your local mailbox (NOT in the mailbox) and on Saturday your mail carrier will pick up the food items. This is mainly for city carriers.

All donations will be given to the Lighthouse Church for our local food bank.

Non-perishable items include canned goods, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, crackers, pasta, rice, boxed cereal, oatmeal, etc.

As letter carriers are keenly aware, too many of our customers live in challenging situations, uncertain of where their next meal will come.

Much of the local food banks in the southeast Missouri area have helped flood victims so every item counts!  Please donate on Saturday, My 13th.
