DHS Seniors Inducted into National Honor Society

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their National Honor Society Inductee Ceremony on Thursday, April 27th for juniors and seniors.

Mr. Rybolt, DHS Band Director, performed the introduction and served as the master of ceremony.  Mrs. Wiggins spoke about Scholarship, Mrs. Colley about Service, Mrs. Christian spoke about Leadership and Mrs. Guy about Character.

Each student was asked to stand, raise their right hand and say the pledge:  "I pledge to uphold the high purposes of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected; I will be true to the principles for which it stands; and will maintain and encourage the high standards of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character."

Certificates were presented to each inductee as they crossed the stage in the DHS auditorium.  Lemonade and cookies were served in the cafeteria afterwards.

Senior inducted were: Harley Allen, Hailey Anderson, Kelly Ash, Abigail Bates, Caleb Bess, Caleb Blunt, Will Brehmer, Kaylee Carey, Katie Coleman, Haley Cornett, Carly Dean, Taryn Fortner, Megan Foster, Andrew Garner, Cidney Gathings, Macy Graves, Veronica Hampton, Jacob Harris, Hannah Haynes, Bethan Hyten, Jason Jarrell, Emily Johns, Cody McFaddin, Reagan Miller, Sarah Miller, Will Morgan, Cheyenne Mosby, Emily Mouser, Emily Page, Hunter Parrott, Natalee Pedroza, Zachary Potts, Caroline Powers, Olivia Sitzes, Myca Sutton, Alyssa Teets, Kirsten Teffertiller, Macy Urhahn, Ashlyn Werneck, Lillian Whitehead, and Brianna Wright.
