Mary Inez Wells Siegrist was born on July 25, 1920 in Chanute, Kansas to the late David Samuel Wells & Noramanda T. Blanscet.
She departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 96 years 7 months and 14 days.
Mary Inez Wells Siegrist was an elementary school teacher.
She was united in marriage to Harold V. Siegrist on July 4, 1966 in Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on Monday, March 10, 2014.
Her survivors include a son Robert Allen Siegrist and his wife, Theresa Ann of North Royalton, Ohio; a daughter Kristina Ruth Bowlby and her husband, John of Malden; grandsons Michael Thomas Siegrist of North Royalton, Ohio and Carl Vernon Bowlby of Chicago, Illinois; granddaughter Mary Evelyn Benney and her husband, Garrett of Olathe, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3brothers: John Wells, David Wells & John Blanscet and 1 sister: Ruth Stevens.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden with Reverend John Bowlby & Reverend Dan Hargrave officiating.
Margaret Elizabeth Cravens of Dexter, daughter of the late Vernie Spencer and Rosie Marie Blackburn Walker, was born in Cardwell, Misouri on May 1, 1923, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston on March 10, 2017, at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 9 days.
She had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and in Dexter since 1973. She was a member of the Parma United Methodist Church.
On September 27, 1944, she was married to Dale M. Cravens in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 19, 1996.
Surviving are one son & wife, Jimmy Dale & Sandy Cravens of Dexter; two daughters, Marcia Beaird and Sherry & Sam Hector all of Dexter; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Jimmie Don Walker of Live Oak, Florida; two sisters, Martha Ann Patton of Live Oak, Florida and Sharion Faye Hershey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Jackson and Mardell Qualls; three brothers, Vern "Bud" Walker, Jr., Bill Walker and Jackie Walker.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel with Rev. Ron Beaton of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis Joan Hayden of Dexter, daughter of the late Lloyd Hodge and Virginia Dorothy Moore Lutes, was born in Parma, Missouri on October 9, 1946, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on March 9, 2017, at the age of 70 years and 5 months.
She had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and in Dexter the past forty years. She had attended the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter and was retired from Elders Manufacturing.
In 1970 she was married to Bobby Gene Hayden in Morehouse, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby G. Hayden of Dexter; three grandchildren, Kara Lynn Richie, Bailey Richie and Joe Thurston; five great grandchildren; four brothers, David Will Wasbutsky and Robert Sylvester Lutes both of Dexter, Johnny Wasbutsky of Parma, Carl Joseph Wasbutsky of W. Paducah, Kentucky; three sisters, Sandra Diannia Landers and Lorrie Ann Kimball both of Dexter and Monica Rene Wasbutsky of Branson. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Carl Jeffery Richie and one brother, Julius Wayne Wasbutsky.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Dale Holman of Advance officiating.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Jo Ann Robertson Greer, 81, of Dexter, Mo died Monday night, March 6, 2017 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born August 25, 1935 in Corinth, MS. She graduated from Bragg City High School in May 1953.
Jo Ann married Bill Greer on June 28, 1953 in Kennett, Mo. They moved to Kansas City in 1962 where they raised their family. They returned to Dexter, Mo. In 1991 when they retired.
She is survived by her husband Bill Greer of Dexter, daughters Janice (Don) Church of De Soto, Ks, Debbie Peck of Olathe, Ks, and Tonia Lawton of Olathe, Ks. She is also survived by four grandsons, Donny (Sheri) Church of Eudora, Ks, Mike Church of Clearview City, Ks, Daniel (Kalena) Greer of Kansas City, Mo, and Dalton Nowak of Olathe, Ks, as well as fourteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Wallace and Jessie Leota Robertson, her son William Thomas Greer, and son-in-law Robert Lawton.
Jo Ann loved her family and friends and will be missed by all.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Malden, Mo on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Roy LeBlanc officiating.
Lester James Abbott, Sr, son of the late Lloyd Abbott and Hazel Edwards Abbott was born on June 19, 1942 in Neelyville, Missouri and departed this life on March 1, 2017 at the Missouri State Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau at the age of 74.
Mr. Abbott was a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp RET. and a residence of Essex.
He was united in marriage to Rosa Villegas in Oceanside, California on December 14, 1972. Mrs. Abbott survives of the home in Essex, Missouri.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Lester James Abbott, Jr (Heather) of Beaver, West Virginia; by two daughters, Rosa Marcella Collyer (Rich) of Windsor, Connecticut and Amy Boyden (Scott) of Colchester, Connecticut; by two brothers, Henry J. Abbott of Melford, Oregon and Gary Abbott of Malden, Missouri; by three sisters, Mary Hill of Powe, Missouri , Wanda Hill of Bernie, Missouri and Agnes McCoy of Clarkton, Missouri; by ten grandchildren, Elizabeth Abbott, Joshua Abbott, Mackenzie Collyer, Peyton Marie Collyer, Chase Collyer, Delaney Collyer, Stephanie Hendrickson, Victoria Sheily Boyden, Glenda Boyden and Rosie Boyden; by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., Monday March 6, 2017.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday March 7th, 2017 at 10:00 A. M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
