Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield School District has set their 2017 Preschool and Kindergarten Screening dates.
Preschool Screening date will be Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Trinity United Methodist Church located at 704 West Missouri Street.
Students must be three (3) on or before July 31, 2017 in order to be screened.
Kindergarten Screening will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 also at the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Students must be five (5) on or before July 31, 2017 in order to enroll.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Project Prom is sponsoring a Father/Daughter & Mother/Son I Love You to the Moon & Back Valentine's Dance on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. - 8;00 p.m. in the Bloomfield FEMA Building.
This dance is for children up through 5th grade and their parents. Children may be escorted by a grandparent, guardian or other adult role model.
Cost is $20 per couple (1 adult and 1 child). A second child may be added for $10.
Dress is Sunday best.
Join them for an evening of music, refreshments, and fun!
All proceeds will go to Bloomfield Project Prom 2017.
Bloomfield, Missouri - Bloomfield R-14 will be accepting bids for the lawn maintenance.
Bids specifications may be obtained at the Administration Office.
All bids are due to the Administration Office no later than Friday, February 10th at 12:00pm.
Any bid received after this will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Bloomfield, Missouri - Allison Statler is well known in the area for her excellent skills at playing the violin, but on Saturday she made history at Bloomfield Schools when she earned All-State Honors with her flute. Statler is the first student in the history of the Bloomfield Band Department to make the Missouri High School All-State Band.
Also this year Gabriel Waters made Honorable Mention on Bass Clarinet.
On December 3, 2016 more than 1,400 students from across Missouri met at Hickman High School in Columbia to audition for the honor of participating in the top band in the state.
Only 110 students are accepted into this elite ensemble.
The band will meet, rehearse, and perform at the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference held January 25 through January 28, 2017 at Tan-Tar-A Resort, Lake of the Ozarks.
Bloomfield, Missouri - Fourth grade Girl Scouts at Bloomfield Elementary School are responsible for raising and retiring the United States flag and the Missouri Flag each and every day.
Stoddard County Honor Guard members, Jack Gillis (Army Veteran) and Mike Williams (Air Force Veteran) trained the fourth grade Girl Scouts on flag etiquette and protocol last week.
Students are Destiny Underhile, Kassie Bowers, Kaelyn Conner, and Lindsey Haynes.
A huge thank you to these awesome young ladies who take care of our nation's flag and to the Stoddard County Honor Guard and Mrs. Skaggs who help each year with the training.
