Phillip Eugene Ivy, son of Joyce Fox Swinger of Circle City and the late Frank Ivy, was born on January 18, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on February 16, 2017 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 64.

Mr. Ivy was a Veteran of the United States Army, was a cabinet maker for W.W. Wood Products in Dudley.

He was united in marriage to Kathy Blunt on January 24, 1980 in Clines Island, Missouri.  Mrs. Ivy survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and their spouses Jason Ivy (Tessa) of Essex and Ethon Ivy (Jessica) of Dexter; by his mother, Joyce Swinger of Circle City; one brother, Bruce Ivy of Bloomfield; by three grandchildren, Damon Ivy, Judah Ivy and Zoey Ivy.

Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Lighthouse Christian Center at Dexter at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield
