Stoddard County Nutrition Center Menu

Dexter, Missouri - The Stoddard County Nutrition Center aka Dexter Senior Center lunch menu for Monday, February 6, 2017 - Friday, February 10, 2017.

The Dexter Senior Center is located at 23 W. Stoddard St. in historic downtown Dexter.

You don't have to be a senior to eat.  They serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the cost is $3.50 for seniors and $5.00 for non-seniors.

Monday, February 6th:  Pork chop, baked sweet potato, green beans, whole grain crackers, and chocolate chip cookie bar.  Activities are "You Be the Judge" at 11 a.m. and BINGO at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, February 7th: Chicken & Dumplings, corn, spinach, whole grain bread, and cherry cobbler.  Activities are "Sit & Motion Singing" at 11 a.m. and BINGO at 1 p.m.

Wednesday, February 8th: Chef salad with peas, half grilled cheese sandwich, whole grain crackers, and cinnamon roll pizza.  Activities are "Chair BINGO" at 11 a.m. and Music Group at Noon.

Thursday, February 9th: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, whole grain roll, and chess pie.  Activities are "Toss 'N Talk" at 11 a.m. and "Quick Cooking" at 1 p.m.

Friday, February 10th: Sliced ham, catfish, whole grain mac & cheese, green peas, whole grain cornbread, and peaches 'n cream pie.  Activities are "Card Play" at 10:30 a.m. and BINGO at 1 p.m.

Lions Club Donates to Veterans Cemetery and Wreaths Across America

Dexter, Missouri - the Dexter Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Wreaths Across America program and $500 to the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery Assistance League.

The Wreaths Across America is held annually at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.  The national prgram provides for wreaths to be placed on veterans' graves all across the country.

The Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery Assistance Program raises funds to purchase items not in the cemetery budget.

Dexter Lions Club Donates to Police Department

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Dexter Police Department.

The money was raised from the Back the Blue Bulb sales at the Stoddard County Fair.  Local business owners Steve Brown, Mark and Kristi Booker, and Greg and Lisa Mathis donated the money for the bulbs so all monies raised could go directly to emergency agencies.

Eat Wings - Raise Funds for Dexter SR Beta Club TONIGHT

Poplar Bluff, Missouri - The Dexter High School Senior Beta Club will host a special fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings in Poplar Bluff on Wednesday, January 18th.

"Eat Wings - Raise Funds" is an all day event from open to close.  Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10% of each patron's total bill (not including tax, gratuity, alcohol, or promotional discounts) to the Dexter High School SR Beta Club.

This includes dine-in and take-out.  Patrons must present the ticket or show the ticket via cell phone to let them know.

Any SR Beta Club member has tickets available or you can use the photo above on your cell phone.  Just show the waitress when you order!

Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 1429 Westwood Blvd in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
