Dixie Lou Prough, daughter of the late Ewald Forslund and Vida Baumgarden Forslund was born on August 12, 1937 in Webster, South Dakota and departed this life on January 29, 2017 at her residence near Dexter, Missouri at the age of 79.
Dixie was the former Stoddard County Public Administrator and is a member of The Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Clay Prough on March 13, 1959 in Alhambra, California. Mr. Prough survives of the home.
Survivors include; one son, Ronnie Prough of Dexter; three daughters, Sandy Keeling of Poplar Bluff, Nickki Prough and Marilyn Borden both of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Cody Fox, Jimmy Rodriguez, Robert Roberts, Albert Sipes and Tabbytha Jarred; by eleven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Randy Prough; one brother, George Forslund, and one sister Gloria Weakley.

Louise Fields, daughter of the late Joseph Clayton and Velma Scates Clayton was born on March 24, 1939 in Dudley, Missouri and departed this life on January 30, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter at the age of 77.
Mrs. Fields was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, homemaker, and a resident of Dexter.
On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Gene Fields in Senatoba, Mississippi. Mr. Fields preceded her in death on May 7, 2014.
Survivors include one son, Terry Fields (Vicky) of Dexter; three daughters, Tammy Fields, LaRhonda Gibson and companion Ronald Taylor, and Lesa Holland (Brett) all of Dexter; by one brother, Lloyd Clayton of Davis Junction, Illinois; one sister Rebecca “Beck” Frields of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Chrissy Herren (Shannon) of Piggott, Arkansas, Joshua Gibson of Dexter, Travis Holland and companion Jessi Sederlund of Plymouth, Minnesota, Chelcy AuBuchon (Reggie) of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, and Matthew Schoffstall of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; also by five great-grandchildren, Lexi Herren, Lindsay Herren, Brynlee AuBuchon, Malia AuBuchon, and Jey Thoennes.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Herb Clayton, Woodrow Clayton, Verlin Dean “Pug” Clayton, Billy Vernon Clayton, Jimmy Dell Clayton, and David Wayne “Butch” Clayton; by three sisters, Nell Jones, Chris Perkins, and Mary Maxie Clayton.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:00 until 11:30 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2017.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 11:30 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Danny Collins and Rev. Ron Beaton officiating.
Interment will follow at the Dudley Cemetery.

Cristola Foushee, daughter of the late James Newton Cobb and Adda Alice Rickman Cobb was born on July 5, 1930 at Hargrave Corner, Arkansas and departed this life on January 29, 2017 at her residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 86.
Cristola had worked at Brown Shoe Company for many years and was a former resident of Bloomfield.
She was united in marriage to Clarence James Foushee on April 23, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Foushee preceded her in death on January 18, 2008.
Her survivors include, three grandchildren, Sherri Cookson, Terry Lemons, and Michael Foushee; by three great-grandchildren, James Tilley, Mark and Jericah Lemons; by one great-great-grandchild, Jaycee DeJournett.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, James Michael Foushee; by one daughter, Brenda Kay Tilley; by four brothers, Luther Cobb, J. T. Cobb, Charlie Cobb and E.B. Cobb; by three sisters, Marie Crosno, Sylvia Kellum and Maybell Renfro.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating.

Bonnie Lee Huls, daughter of the late Asa Lee Adkins and Melvina Fletcher Adkins was born on February 3, 1927 in Stoddard County, Missouri and departed this life on January 29, 2017 in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 89.
Bonnie graduated from St. Louis University with a Nursing degree. She was a nurse in various locations in Southeast Missouri.
Survivors include; one daughter, Millie Huls Pruett of Monroe, Wisconsin; by one brother Fletcher (Buster) Adkins of Bernie, Missouri; by one sister, Louella Jefferies of Festus, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Adam Pruett (Ashley) of Miller, Missouri, Ashley Gray (Michael) of Fisk, Missouri, Adriane Powers of Wappapello, Missouri, Hannah Orton (Randy) of Dexter, Missouri and Halli Huls of Dexter, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Lily, Kaitlynn, Levi, JR, Asa, and Baby Orton.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Christian Huls.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Triplett Cemetery in rural Dexter, Missouri.

Jordan Tyler Evans, son of Charles Junior Evans II and Carol Lawrence was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 5, 1986 and departed this life in an Automobile Accident North of Bernie, Missouri on January 28, 2017 at the age of 30.
Jordan worked for Eisen Steel, St. Charles, Missouri. He was a resident of Imperial, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Brittinee Spradling in Bernie, Missouri on December 13, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Brittinee Evans of Imperial, Missouri; by his father, Chuck Evans & wife Geneal of Bernie, Missouri; by his mother, Carol Lawrence of Parma, Missouri; by his grandfather, Raymond Duffie of Bernie, Missouri; also by other relatives and many friends.
