MaKayla Waldner Named to President's Scholar List

Dexter, Missouri - MaKayla Brooke Waldner of Dexter, Missouri was recognized for outstanding academic achievement and was named to the Fall 2016 President's Scholar List at Mississippi State University.  She has completed her first semester and has a full ride soccer scholarship.

Students are required to be a full time undergraduate student and must complete at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades nor grades lower than a C.  President's Scholars are students who earned a GPA of 3.80 - 4.00.

MaKayla is a 2016 graduate of Dexter Senior High School and is the daughter of Bob and Kim Waldner.

"Mississippi State University is a public institution that was founded in 1878. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 17,421, its setting is rural, and the campus size is 4,200 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Mississippi State University's ranking in the 2017 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, 176."
