In Loving Memory William Kenneth Link, Sr.

William Kenneth Link, Sr., formerly of Bloomfield, son of the late Jesse Oscar and Pearl Ada Walker Link, was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 25, 1927, and passed way at the St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 4, 2017 at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 10 days.

He had lived in Lancaster, California and then returned to Bloomfield in 1974. He was a veteran of the U.S Air Force and had worked as an aircraft electronics inspector with NASA before he retired.

On October 3, 1976, he was married to Glenda “Toots” Cartwright Hardin in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2008.

Surviving are one son, William “Bill” Link of Dexter; two grandchildren & spouses, Beckie & James King of Sidney, Arkansas, Paul Link & Erin Creley of St. Albans, Vermont; two great grandchildren, Shelbie King of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Alan King of Sidney, Arkansas; one step-daughter, Cheryl Zimmerman of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dale Link, a brother, Jesse Link and two sisters, Lois Capps and Marva Lou Rampley.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with  of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment will be on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Donald Clark

Donald Clark, son of the late James Clark and Anna Mae Florence Clark was born on November 27, 1951 at Mount Carmel, Illinois and departed this life in the Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau on December 28, 2016 at the age of 65.

Mr. Clark is survived by one sister, Donna Kay Haynes (Randy) of Dexter: by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Clark, Gary Clark and Roger Clark.

Private graveside services were conducted at Hagy Cemetery, with his nephew, Chris Graves officiating, along with other family members participating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Donald Glen Volz

Donald Glen Volz of Marston, son of Vera Lee March Sanders and the late Donald Glenn Sanders, was born in Dexter, Missouri on March 5, 1974, and passed away at the Pemiscott Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri on January 5, 2017 at the age of 42 year and 10 months.

Donald had lived in the Dexter and Essex areas most of his life.

On October 20, 2006, he married Billie Jean Cunningham in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Billie Volz of Marston; three daughters, Mariyah Hancock of Bloomfield, Alyssa and Taylor Volz both of Marston; three brothers, David March of Dexter, Timothy Sanders of Sikeston, and Chad Sanders of Essex; two sisters, Chastity Walley of Dexter and Brittany Johnson of Essex. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Pastor James Malloy of Essex, Missouri, officiating.

Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri, with Watkins & Sons of Dexter, in charge of all the arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Oma Fowler

Oma Fowler, daughter of the late Richard Gipson and Carrie Norman Gipson was born on October 15, 1922 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on January 5, 2017 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 94.

Mrs. Fowler was a member of the Risen Church in Dexter.  She was a former employee of Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield where she was a machinist and The Hickory Log Restaurant in Dexter where she was a cook.

She is survived by one son, Larry Fowler and wife Diana of Festus, Missouri; three daughters, Glenda Tumbleson and husband Wayne of Essex, Missouri, Wanda King and husband Kenneth of Jackson, Missouri and Geraldine “Gerri” Lowe and husband Larry of Granite City, Illinois; by one brother David Gipson of The State of California; by two sisters, Nina Stewart of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Dorothy Duba of Jonesboro, Arkansas; by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Hickson and Marion Gipson; by two sisters, Delcie Waltrip and Louise Owens.

Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. 

Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Danny Collins officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery.

In Loving Memory of Gregory Knutson

Gregory Kent Knutson, son of the late Leo Knutson and Geraldine Flannary Whitler, was born on October 19, 1950 in Evansville, Indiana and departed this life on January 4, 2017 at the Emergency Room at Southeast Health in Dexter at the age of 66.

Mr. Knutson was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Vietman War.  He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter and a former employee of Alan Wire in Sikeston, Missouri, where he was a manufacturing Supervisor.

He was united in marriage to Marla Dambach on November 1, 1991 in Dexter, Missouri.  She survives of the home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Chris Knutson and wife Diana of Chaffee, Missouri; by one sister, Robin Long of Scopus, Missouri; by three grandchildren, August Knutson, Mary Beth Knutson and Gracie Knutson.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Lanny Knutson.

Friends may call at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

A Rosary prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M.  Funeral Mass will be conducted in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM by Father David Dohogne. 

Interment will follow at Chalk Bluff Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the Chaffee Booster Club at 517 West Yoakum, Chaffee, Missouri 63740.
