Winter Homecoming Candidate Cheyenne Mosby

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Winter Homecoming Coronation on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Bearcat Event Center.  Ten young ladies were represented for five winter sports.  Two from Cheer, two from Wrestling, two from Dance, two from girls basketball, and two from boys basketball.  High school students voted for their Homecoming Queen and her court.

The eighth candidate tonight was Cheyenne Mosby.

Cheyenne is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Angela Mosby.

She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Sr. Beta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Lady Cats softball team and the Lady Cats basketball team.

Her future plans are to attend college at Three Rivers College then transfer to Hannibal LaGrange University to earn a bachelor's degree and become a teacher.

Her escort tonight was Chad Smith.

Chad is the 16-year old junior and son of Chad Smith and Melissa Holt.

He is a member of Sr. Beta and the boys basketball team.

Addie Kruse was the 7th candidate to walk across the court at the Bearcat Event Center.

She is the 16-year old daughter of Scott and Kerri Kruse.  She is a junior at Dexter High School.

She is a member of the basketball cheer team, volleyball team, and track team.  She is also active in Honors Choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, and Tobacco Free Missouri Youth.

Her future plans are to enjoy the rest of her junior and senior years in high school and is currently undecided where she would like to attend college.

She was nominated by the basketball team.

Her escort tonight was Clay Mullins.

He is the 17-year old junior and son of Wes and Charlene Mullins.

Clay is a member of the basketball team, baseball team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta, Student Council, and Future Business Leaders of America.

She is the 17-year old daughter of Stephanie and Tim Adams.  She is also a senior at Dexter High School.

Kelsey is a member of the varsity basketball cheer team, Student Council, Sr. Beta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Honor Society.

Her future plans are to attend college at Missouri State University.

She was nominated by the basketball cheer team.

Her escort tonight was Logan Wyman.

He is the 14-year old son of Steve and Jana Wyman.  He is a freshman at Dexter High School.

Rhylan is a member of the basketball cheer team, volleyball, track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Sr. Beta, and Honors Choir.

Her future plans are to cheer at the University of Missouri and major in journalism, then hopefully work for ESPN.

She was nominated by the wrestling team.

Her escort tonight was her brother, Haden Hillis.

Haden is the 15-year old son of Darren Tory Hillis.

He is a member of the football team, basketball team, and baseball team.  He is also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, and Honors Choir.

Her future plans are to join the pre-engineering program at Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau and then major in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.

She was nominated by the Kickin' Cats dance team.

Her escort tonight was her brother, Cutter Cornett.

Cutter is the 14-year old freshman and son of Chris and Nancy Cornett.

He is a member of the wrestling team.
