Kennett Demolishes Doniphan Early to Secure a Spot in Semifinal Action

Bloomfield, Missouri - The #6 seed Kennett overpowered the #3 seed Doniphan early in the first quarter 19-0 to secure their win in game 16 quarterfinal action of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.  Kennett will move on to the semifinals on Wednesday against rival Dexter Bearcats at 8:30 p.m.

Coach Lennies McFerren has once again proven that Kennett is a formidable opponent even against a top seed.

At the half Kennett led 38-19 and continued their offensive drive adding another 30 points against the Dons.

Kenny led the Indians with a game-high 21 points.  Jay Davis recorded 14, Kinnon had 11 and Jarvis Stewart contributed 10 points.  Davis tallied one trey in the first quarter.

Doniphan's top scorer was Kaly Barton with 18.  Barton also had one 3-pointer.

Dexter Advances to Semifinal Action at the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri -The Dexter Bearcats started off flat, but rose to the occasion defeating the Portageville Bulldogs 65-59 to secure a spot in the Bloomfield Christmas semifinals against the Kennett Indians!

Portageville held Jason Jarrell and Clay Mullins to just two points each in the first quarter.

Clay Mullins led the Bearcats with 16 points before fouling out late in the game. 

Gabe Jackson contributed 12 points prior to fouling out as well.

Ben Sindle recorded three treys all in the third quarter finishing with 12 points.

Jason Jarrell added 10 points.

Luke Darst recorded a team-high 15 points for the Bulldogs. Ian Torry came in with 14 points and Bub Lance finished with 12 points.  Darst and Lance each had four 3-pointers.  Darst and Lance both fouled out during the game.

Bloomfield Escapes Malden for the Win

Bloomfield, Missouri - Peyton Bell led Bloomfield with 22 points to to secure a semifinal appearance against the #1 seeded Hayti Indians.  Bloomfield defeated Malden 57-51 in Game No. 14 of the 60th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

Bell also recorded all three treys in the first half.

Timmy Hector tallied 12 points and Alex Gibbs finished with 11 points for the Wildcats. 

Dalton Phillips and Austin Phillips contributed one 3-pointers each.

The game was tied 31-all at halftime after Timmy Hector drained a buzzer-beater trey.

Dushawn Butler had a team-high 14 points for Malden. Tyler Ison tallied 11 points.

Bloomfield, Missouri -The East Prairie Eagles tried their best to conquer the Hayti Indians and place one more upset under their belt at the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament, but the Indians proved to be too much for them on Tuesday.  Hayti won 71-66 dropping the Eagles to the 5th place portion of the bracket.

Kemron Rollings led Hayti with 22 points with 11 buckets.

Kobe Cooper and Kedron Rollings each contributed 12 points.

East Prairie's Casey Gregory tallied a game-high 27 points.

Luke Marcum recorded 19 and Deverence Jones finished with 10 points.
