Shawn Green, formerly of Bernie, Missouri passed away on December 15, 2016 at the age of 41 years. He was the son of Darrell and Carol Green.
Loving husband of Erin for over 12 years. Father of Avery. brother of Kevin and Shane (Kerri).
Memorial visitation is Sunday, December 18th from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Adolf Funeral Home, Ltd., 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook with a religious service at 4:30 pm.
All services conclude after the visitation.
Further services will be held in Bernie, Missouri on Dec. 23, 2016 at the Bernie High School Gymnasium from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

John Scott Mathis, son of Vernon Carroll Mathis and June Faye Lawrence Mathis of Dexter, Missouri was Born January 18, 1962 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on December 16, 2016 in Benton, Missouri at the age of 54.
John Scott was an employee of Donald Bond Construction Company, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He attended Liberty Hill General Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. John was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting and motorcycles.
He was united in marriage to Nicole Ward on March 31, 2014 in Piggott, Arkansas. Nicole survives of the home in Bernie, Missouri.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife Nicole Mathis of Bernie, Missouri; by two sons, Hunter Mathis of Rolla, Missouri and Elijah Carroll Lawrence Mathis of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Hannah Mathis of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, David Mathis and wife Cathy of Talihina, Oklahoma, and Greg Mathis and wife Lisa of Dexter, Missouri; by mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeri and David Pritchett of Dexter, Missouri and Rob and Jamie Ward of Dexter, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Chloe Lawrence.
Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Services will be conducted on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joe Payne and Eric Mathis officiating.
Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.

Annie Eldora Huffman Clifton of Fairdealing, daughter of the late David Peter and Annie Ruth Victoria OGuim Huffman, was born in Parma, Missouri on July 22, 1932, and passed away at her home in Fairdealing on December 13, 2016, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 21 days.
She was raised in Olgesville and was a life long resident of Missouri. She was a member of the Pentacostal Church.
On January 11, 1951, she was married to Harry Clinton Clifton in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1999.
Surviving are seven daughters, Carolyn Gambling of Fairdealing, Connie Gambling of Oxly, JoAnne McKnight of Benld, Illinois, Mary Jackman of Doniphan, Linda Blankenship of Paragould, Arkansas, Vicky Gray of Troy, Louise Knight of Malden; three sons, Orville and Kenny Clifton both of Fairdealing, David Clifton of Cheyenne, Wyoming; thirty-four grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Morton, one son, Henry Floyd Clifton, six grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers in infancy.
Visitations will be held Friday, December 16, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. in Dexter.

David J. Hyslop of Bloomfield, 54, son of Mildred Irene Hyslop and the late James Calvin Hyslop, was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo. on July 18, 1962, and died at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Dec.15, 2016, following an accident at his rural Bloomfield home.
David had lived in Southeast Missouri all of his life. He had worked as a mechanic and in service and parts departments throughout his career and was a member of the Methodist Church in Dexter. He was a fan of bluegrass music and was accomplished himself on many string instruments.
David also enjoyed hunting and generally loved the outdoors. He was a devoted husband and a proud father of one daughter, Misti, whom he gave away in marriage just two months ago.
On Aug. 15, 1981, he married to Kathy Jean Palmer in Aquilla, Mo., who survives at their Bloomfield home.
Also surviving are his daughter, Misti and son-in-law, Joe Shuffler of Bloomfield; his mother, Mildred Hyslop of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; two brothers and their spouses, Stephen and Kathryn Hyslop of Dexter and Dennis and Susan Hyslop of Bloomfield. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Calvin Hyslop, a niece, Sunshine Hyslop and his grandparents, Cecil and Genevie Jarrell.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Mo. with funeral services following at 1 p.m. Sunday. Pastor Michael Woods of Leopold will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
Velma Maxine Prance, the daughter of late Lowell C and Anna Mae Haislip Waltrip, was born February 12, 1923, in Clarkton, MO. Mrs. Prance died December 13, 2016, in Malden, MO, at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 1 day.
On December 18, 1942, in Kennett, MO, she was united in marriage to John A Prance, Sr. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1968.
Maxine was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Malden.
Survivors include one son, John A. Prance, Jr. and his wife Suzanne, of Dexter, MO; one daughter, Connie Hampton, and her husband Bill, also of Dexter; three grandchildren, William Robert Hampton, Julie Mangum, and J.R. Prance, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell C. "Bud" Waltrip, Jr.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating.
Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
