ShowMe Times Strives to Spotlight Our Community in a Positive Manner

The ShowMe Times is all about our community - the people, schools, churches, civic organizations, and local businesses that make our area a great place to live, grow, learn & prosper.

The ShowMe Times strives to combine today's technology and new media avenues with positive, uplifting, community journalism.

The ShowMe Times aims to create a space on Facebook.com/ShowMeTimes where readers can exchange intelligent and informed commentary that enhances the quality of our news and information. We Tweet the same positive information to those who have a Twitter account.  We occasionally create videos and post on Air SMT and there are tons of awesome photos of our athletes and events in our community posted on Facebook.

The ShowMe Times values thoughtful comments representing a range of views that make their point politely. A few things we won't tolerate on our Facebook wall: personal attacks, obscenity, vulgarity, profanity (including expletives and letters followed by dashes), extreme negativity, name calling, and commercial promotion.

While most comments will remain posted if they are on-topic and not abusive, moderating decisions are subjective. We reserve the right to delete or ban people when comments get out of hand. We will make those decisions as carefully and consistently as we can.

Students who follow the ShowMe Times see enough "bad" and "negative" in this world.  It's nice to see a new source with all-positive articles!

The ShowMe Times is a free publication to everyone.  There is no charge to read or print out the articles posted on our website.  There are more than 150,000 photos available to purchase at the lowest cost possible.  WE hope you continue to follow and enjoy the ShowMe Times for years to come!

Thank you to everyone who support us with their advertising dollars so we may bring you the BEST of WHAT STODDARD COUNTY has to OFFER!
