2016 Football Homecoming Queen Candidate - Jacyln Kiger

Dexter, Missouri - The 2016 Football Homecoming Queen coronation was held prior to the start of the Dexter Bearcats vs Kennett Indians game on Friday, September 30, 2016.

The fourth candidate of the evening was Jacyln Kiger.


She is the daughter of Jerry and Karen Kiger and is a senior at Dexter High School.

Jackie was nominated by the football team.

She is a member of DECA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, Dexter Honor Society, varsity football cheerleading, Kickin' Cats Dance Team, and track and & field team.

Her future plans are to attend college and obtain degrees in Business Management and Early Childhood Education.

Escorting her was Ethan Krystian Martinez.

Ethan is the son of Jeanette Layton, Kara Martinez, and Ray Martinez.

He is a member of Sr. Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, and the football team.

She is the daughter of Carl and Linda Hill and is a junior at Dexter High School.

Jonni was nominated by the Cross Country team.

She is a member of the DHS Marching Band, Jazz Cats, the Robotics Club, track & field team, and cross country.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri School of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri to obtain a degree in engineering.

Her escort was Nathaniel Drivas.

He is the son of Kevin and Tiffany Goltra and is a junior at Dexter High School.

Nathaniel is a member of the Cross Country and Field and Track teams.

Escorting Miss Garrison was Haden Hillis.

Haden is a freshman and is the son of Darren and Tory Hillis.

He is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, varsity football, varsity basketball, and varsity baseball.

Her future plans are to attend college where she will obtain a degree in elementary education.

Michaela's escort was Dawson Kasting.

Dawson is the son of Chuck and Kelly Kasting and is a junior at Dexter High School.

He is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Future Teachers of America, Sr. Beta Club, Student Council, varsity basketball, varsity track & field, and cross country.

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors Victoria Irish with the Positive Office Referral certificate.

This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter.

Victoria is in the 1st grade and was referred by Mrs. Twaddell.

"She already knows her new vocabulary words for this week," commented Twaddell.  "Her and her papa studied over the weekend."
