DAR Holds Southeast District Meeting in Dexter

Dexter, Missouri - Members of the Southeast district's Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held their district meeting at the First Baptist Church in Dexter on Friday, September 16, 2016.

The meeting lasted throughout the day with state DAR dignitaries conducting the activities and speaking on various topics.  A luncheon, silent auction and workshops were held along with small group discussions and awards presented.

Those in attendance on the state level were State Corresponding Secretary Dayna Bischof, State Chaplain Renee Pace, State Regent Susan Bowman, State Recording Secretary Joan Magee, State Curator Norma Johnson, State Historian Joanna Bradley, State Registrar Ladonna Scott, State Organizing Secretary Cathy Owens, State Treasurer Lorilee Short, State Librarian Kay Ellis, and State Parliamentarian Linda Sehrt, RP.
