Dexter, Missouri - 2016 Miss Heartland Pageants were held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Dexter High School Auditorium.

The Miss Heartland Pageants are a fundraiser for the Dexter High School choral department under the direction of educator Jamie Sepulvado.

The fifth pageant of the day was Young Miss Heartland, ten, eleven and twelve years of age.

2016 Young Miss Heartland was awarded to Katelynn Owens.  First alternate was Delayni Smith and second alternate was Addy Atherton and third alternate was Kyla Militoni.

Congratulations to all of the young ladies. Typically the girls will ride in the annual Stoddard County Fair Parade on Tuesday, September 20th.
