In Loving Memory of Helen Lucille Eaton Davis

Helen Lucille Eaton Davis, daughter of the late Charley Eaton and Iris (Nichols) Eaton was born on August 24, 1924 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on September 15, 2016 at the Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 92.

Mrs. Davis worked at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, had worked in the business office for the Chillicothe Hospital.  She loved and enjoyed being with her family and friends.  She enjoyed fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.  Helen kept stats on every game until the last few months of her life.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri and loved her church family and the caring staff at Winchester Place.

On July 27, 1950 she was united in marriage to James (Jim) Davis.  Mr. David preceded her in death on October 1, 2010.

She is survived by one son Charles Roberts and wife Ota of Dexter, Missouri; by one granddaughter Shelley Halford; two great grandchildren Charley Morgan Halford and Christian Halford of Covington Tennessee; one grandson Ryan Roberts and wife Heather; two great grandchildren Kolby Roberts and Rylee Grace Roberts; by three brothers Jerry Eaton of Springfield, Missouri, Randy Eaton of Taylor Michigan, and Larry Rodgers of Circle City, Missouri; by one sister Lois Ogan of Frankton, Indiana; 2 sister in laws Ruby Davis of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Betty Jo Eaton of Kansas City, Missouri.  Also precious nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rev. James Davis; two brothers Tracy Eaton and James Rodgers; by one sister Charlene Eaton.

Friends can call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be Sunday September 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Alice Fowler officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
