Seeking 1986 DHS Bearcat Football Players

Dexter, Missouri - If you were a 1986 Bearcat football team athlete or know a 1986 football player please contact Gavin Miller at the Dexter Middle School.

The 1986 Bearcat football team went 9-0 that season.  They are one of only three teams to have a perfect regular season and go undefeated during the regular season.  They finished their year with an 11-1 record.  The 1941 Bearcat football team had a record of 8-0 and the 1963 football team went 10-0.

On Friday, September 30th Homecoming for the Dexter Bearcats, the team will enjoy a catered meal in the Dexter High School cafeteria at 5:00 p.m.  Then at 6:30 p.m. they will walk through the Fall Community Tailgate area and watch the game from the press box side at 7:00 p.m. for the first half.  During the half-time festivities the team will be introduced at mid-field.

Letters went out this week from Mr. Miller; however they were to last known addresses.  If you are a member or know a member of that team please have them contact Gavin at (573) 614-1010.  They will need to know how many are coming to prepare the proper amount of food and get a list for the announcer for half-time.
