Sikeston, Missouri - The Lady Bearcats traveled to Sikeston for their season opener defeating the Bulldogs 9 - 0 in varsity and 6 - 0 in the junior varsity match-ups.  Though their uniforms are somewhere lost in transit and two junior varsity girls were out with injuries it didn't stop the Cats from showing they can compete under any circumstance.

"It was good to get the first match completed," commented head tennis coach April Aldridge.  "We had some first match "jitters" early on, but as the day progressed, I feel like we settled into playing our tennis game."
